coming from autox, I'd say running a hard r-comp tire like that in the front is useless until they're up to temp (car will push for days) And the runs you're doing seem so short its hard to say the tires are up to operating temp. but from watching this video I'm assuming you already know this. Keep up the great work taylor!! :D

Yeah some 200tw tires would be perfect like the RE71Rs or AD08s.

First off, wash you're front door by the knob that's filthy, second the part when you do you're first initiate second in line. The go pro angle was sick, You can damner feel the clutch kicks...or iam the only one.

Sam Schnautz might be. I dont remember really I know that Stillen makes an intake manifold for the early VQ motor You can find them used for like 250 bucks that. Lightweight flywheel and maybe a ful exhaust Could get him to where he needs I know it's a thrash car so putting a lot of money in it doesn't make sense but maybe a 1000 bucks and he may be **edit:able** to get an extra 20 to 30 horsepower out of it.

Hey, for future reference always use your parking brake when loading your car on the trailer when it is attached to the truck. I worked as an rv/trailer tech in California and have had a few customers come in and complain that towing their rig ruined their transmission, always ended up they never used parking brake.
I’m very happy to see the shift to more lightly modified reliable cars like at ebisu. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻😘

need to be warm, 32ish psi warm so 28ish cold, if there 2012 you can get tyre softener from summit. try cutting some hero spec warm up laps then go in deep on a lead lap, the harder you push them the harder they will grip.
Maybe you should check out z1 performance for a little more power on the 350z if you need it.

use the oem wheels in the rear and a saw vids on insa of the old owner shreading tire
Tyre compound is old and will take ages to heat because they so dry from sitting for so long they will never be as good as they should be due to age usually rule of thumb is dig your nail into the tire should leave an indent and then spring back after a few sec. Loving the videos tho.
Check you steering rack Bushes. That can make your steering inputs really vague. I had the issue with my jzx81 especially if you steering wheel is changing from off center to center back too off center. Rack is proably moving.

Taylor try lowering the front a tad before condemning the tires, had the same issue on my e36 with no sways. More weight on the front helped the understeer a lot.

Do you have an intake plenum spacer? It should give a tiny little bit more power if you don't have one

someone has probably said this but put tire prep on ur slicks to soften them up
It will make them fire off better so you don’t need to warm them up so much b4 you get grip
Try dropping the front ride height a little, or raising the rear a little. Some weight transfer might help with that under steer.
Take the turbo silencer out of your turbo on the Cummins. You'll be able to hear the spool better.

I don't really like it. before the rebuild, it was amazing! now it's way too loud and raspy sounding for me. sounds like something is rattling on the exhaust or something. not a fan.

you should have martin from rs entropy (i think thats how you spell it) tune your z, with intake, exhaust, test pipes and a tune i made 264whp on my DE. its a nice bump in power from stock!

could giving the ECU a simple performance flash help with the low on power issue at the long sweeper?
CHANGE UR RING AND PINION GEARS TO A HIGHER RATIO LIKE 3:73 OR 4:10, THAT WAY YOU WILL BE IN HIGHER RPM IN THIRD GEAR AND BE ABLE TO CATCH THE CAR IN FRONT OF YOU

I know this is a seat time car but maybe a centrifugal supercharger (there isn’t much room for a turbo) running to 6 pounds of boost to add some power
