im glad i found you through adams channel! easily one of my most anticipated videos to watch. Love the level of detail you go into explaining everything.
Once again buddy, you never seem to disappoint. You explaining the science and ratios of suspension is freaking awesome man. And the cool thing is you don't talk and or explain like your a know it all. You just talk as if you were giving some info to someone's curiosity. Honestly buddy your just a humble dude and it makes for great content. Keep it up with the knowledge and the craftsmanship. Btw is the C-5 a daily/ drift car? And I think it's awesome the way you do your videos. You almost make it seem like as if the cars are mine lol. So with that in mind, how is my LS MIATA? Lol I can't wait for the next step on that thing man. Well I've said to much. Take care buddy hope to hear from ya. And once keep up being awesome.
I never get tired of your amazing video/editing skills. They are so far above the sub count, you deserve more and to keep growing for the better. The Z has turned out to be an awesome build series! Keep it up man!
It's nice to see someone who really knows how coil overs work. See it so much "This is for adjusting ride height!" when really you are just massively increasing preload. You get great preload on the spring as designed, and the exact ride height you want. Very nice video!
Really glad you are starting to get the growth your channel deserves, you're one of the few car youtubers who i can always just kick back and chill to watching your videos. always a good time!
I have to be honest, I had a little break from watching your stuff. But men, I'm really really enjoying it lately! It shows that you're putting in a lot of work, you take time to explain stuff and are good in sharing or translating the stuff that happens to, and or with the car. Good stuff Taylor! Greetings from the Netherlands :)
This series is awesome!! It won’t be till the end of this season but I’ll be getting another Z for drift events. These vids are super helpful and are helping me decide what way I’m gonna go as far as parts to look at. Good work man! Love the vids
Great vid! I like how you make stuff easy to understand. I've thought about all the things you talked about before but never heard anyone explain any of it.
I love dampers. Tuning bypass dampers in Beam.ng etc. I have a Manitou bike fork with an awesome compression bypass circuit. Btw an 8k at .5 motion ratio is 2k. 120 lbs/in/s damping is 60 lbs/in/s at .5 motion ratio.
Anyone else wish they lived near Taylor because I swear he would let you come and hang out while working on his car and his attitude and enthusiasm makes me wanna move to Florida
Ive been driving on the BC racing DR type coilovers on my 2011 5.0 and they are so nice. Made a night and day difference in how much easier it is to drive the car. they're worth the extra bit of money
Yes top info i have worked on cars for years but watching you work and explain things makes sense and and thats harder than you think keep up the good work , you have a gift top job ;-)
Love the suspension talk! I'm fairly familiar with everything else, but suspension is one area I need to expand in. Also, its always interesting seeing Chelsea discuss suspension set ups on drift cars. Anyway, dope video mane!
@Taylor Ray your fucking intros are so sick dude...keep up the good work, im excited for all your future progress/projects and success my friend...keep it up bro!
Great info on shocks and coilovers. Thanks for addressing that. Now you just have to re-hang the rear bumper cover and put two inch spacers on the back.
Picking up an 06 G sedan in a few hrs so I'm rewatching old stuff now for educational reasons instead of just entertainment. Totally missed that purp delica at 3:36 .....shits fresh, would match my purple s2r2 nicely! You into knives/edc?
Love BC racing, just help put a set on my friend 09 Mini. super easy as well just had to drill two holes for the rear extenders. Need to get new ones for my car or have them rebuild.
have i missed the part where you talk about what came on the Z when you got it? i Feel like I've watched all your 350z videos. i am looking for the part where you talk about front wheel spacers and some tricks for front steering angle.
but when you adjust the shocks like you did, its adjusting the length of the damper. so the wheel will move up and down more.. to adjust ride height you adjust the height of the spring?
Once I finish building my engine for my MR2, I'm going with BC Racing DS series coilovers. The best coilovers for MR2s would be Alex Wilhelm's custom Koni coilovers but are far higher in cost.
Taylor, would you be able to do a video on adjusting the pre-load for the coilovers, I think that would be super informative to those of us who have coilovers but no clue how to 'properly' adjust them. Thanks.
You’re so chill haha. Gettin stuff done! But hey, please paint your fenders. Even if it’s on par with the angle kit rattle can job. It’s like rusted abs plastic. Wtf haha. Give the Z a little aesthetic love. ❤️
hey taylor how come bc racing has the spring rates for the ds series true coilover as 14k 12k. when they should really be more like 12k 7k or 14k 9k if you wanted the 14k up front...that front to rear ratio is the right ball park for a true coil rear setup
Hey Taylor!! I love your videos, not sure if you will see this sense it’s an older video but i drive a 2012 sti and I’m looking into buying BC racing DS series and i was curious if you thought a swift spring was a good upgrade for aggressive street and moderate auto cross use of if the spring that comes with the DS series would be fine?
Hey Taylor, where can I reach you at BC Racing? Im building a grip based S13 and want to know what type of coilover and spring would be right for me. Im looking at the DR series right now with a softer spring since the car will be running the nurburgring nordschleife, which has a rough track surface.
*Really love the camera work, camera placement, and editing you've been doing lately. Thanks.*

im glad i found you through adams channel! easily one of my most anticipated videos to watch. Love the level of detail you go into explaining everything.

Car is getting better and better! Those BC's are extremely well designed!!

You could call your coil over setups Ray spec! Rad video as always.
have i missed the part where you talk about what came on the Z when you got it? i Feel like I've watched all your 350z videos. i am looking for the part where you talk about front wheel spacers and some tricks for front steering angle.
this video is really informative!
The intro song is, Bonus points - Dude
Awesome video. What are the chances of you doing a clutch changing video on your z?
I'd like to see overfender over the rear quarters next to make it look the part
I love your videos so much information
Was hoping you were going to show how to set the pre load on coilovers
Taylor man i love you always be safe ight❤💯
Are those cobra wheels? What size are they. Bin wanting a set for drift spares. Love the content. Binge watching them at the moment lol
19:24 for the catch can install if youre sick of the coilover install on z's
Very informative video thankyou
Love da vids
From New Zealand
Great Intro Song dude!!👍
but when you adjust the shocks like you did, its adjusting the length of the damper. so the wheel will move up and down more.. to adjust ride height you adjust the height of the spring?
Marco uploaded a video finally and great video btw
You need a bc racing coupon code ;)
Will you do a review on that knife
Once I finish building my engine for my MR2, I'm going with BC Racing DS series coilovers. The best coilovers for MR2s would be Alex Wilhelm's custom Koni coilovers but are far higher in cost.
SICK intro music!

Nice video as always. Nice new haircut
Knowledge boyyyy thank you
Looking forward to seeing the z on the track again after these mods 👌🏻💪🏻
Why do you keep hitting your head on the fender wells?
Maybe he doesn't hit the fender wells, maybe the fender wells hit him
Farout mind blown with all this shock knowledge! progressive linear dampened yea like digressive better but animal sounds about right!
Do a simple paint job on your front fenders, it would look so much better!
New subscriber here......why not paint the front fenders even in black?
My BC coils come in tomorrow!
Can you make a full video about your tool box and a review on it?
joucnce, jaunce, jawnce, jawn... JAWN /NEPAslang
F*cking amazing videos. Keep it UP!
You’re so chill haha. Gettin stuff done! But hey, please paint your fenders. Even if it’s on par with the angle kit rattle can job. It’s like rusted abs plastic. Wtf haha. Give the Z a little aesthetic love. ❤️
Steen Grams who cares its gonna get smashed

Taylor, what is the spring rate that you are running on the front and rear? I am trying to order your setup.
I’m probably the only one to notice, but that Spyderco locking was so crisp sounding!
And the zip tie trick in the opening hole, damn Taylor
Would the spring buckets have enough toe adjustment to correct the alignment for a roughly 1 inch drop?
Suspension is so intriguing on cars
I see your s chassis for ease of cpilover install, and raise you an fc
anthony lopez I raise you a vy commodore 3 bolts up front each side 2 in rear each side ps it’s a Aussie car
I see your FC, and raise you a Citroen 2CV. One nut at each end, that's it.
Lewis Biggs I see your Citroen and raise you my truck, none at all
Hey Taylor!!
The swifts are a nice upgrade, but the default springs work great as well.
Just bought my set of DR digressive coils for a Passat CC! Extreme Low to top it off 😂
Nice Spiderco what model?
full cosign on the Spyderco! paramilitary 2?
Chris Conti purple ffg endura 4
when you do the tire video you should do a quick " tire machine 101" for us that have never used one before! they seem tricky to use lol
Can you explain dampining please taylor
Unless I remember wrong my rears (Stance SS+ true style) are 10k. I know this is a straight drift build but I feel like you’re way soft. Thoughts?
Spiderco Tenacious used to unbox?
Nice spyderco knife.
You would make a great mechanics lecturer at a college or something
Is it worth getting the BC DS coilovers over TEIN ?
Please spray paint that fender lol
fits the car
He can spray it black but spray it lol
King Slayer whoooooo caaaaaaaaares
Calm down window licker it was just a comment
Who are you calling a window licker lol
does bc make shocks for circle track dirt racing??
Hey Taylor, where can I reach you at BC Racing? Im building a grip based S13 and want to know what type of coilover and spring would be right for me. Im looking at the DR series right now with a softer spring since the car will be running the nurburgring nordschleife, which has a rough track surface.
