Lastly, the Mercedes Benz Future Bus became only a prototype, but they copied that bus' front for eCitaroes, which're mostly found in Berlin. And Solaris found a first customer for double-articulators. It's Bratislava's MHD (the same, which also owns Mercedeses, in this case, the CapaCities).
To my knowledge the "Neuron EV Electric Bus" [ 18:30 ] wouldn't be able to get around corners very well due to it's size. Now I am not american, but in my country (germany) three axle busses are around 14,04 m-15 m (depending on 2-Door or 3-Door) in length (meters) and have the last pair of wheels as inverted steering wheels. Basically Steering wheels | Twin wheels Inverted-Steering wheels. They may hit cars if turned too close to them, but it's still better than nothin.
" If someone like Mercedes-Benz can make a bus then why not someone like Audi? " because Mercedes-Benz already made a lot of models, they aren't new in the bus market.
The busses are awesome indeed, but what's the point in getting them on the road if most of us won't be able to afford the ticket prices? Because futuristic busses means expensive busses and, therefore, expensive tickets...they need to maintain the ticket prices or, at least, but rise them up that much

As cool as they may seem on paper, if it's both impractical & expensive then you're gonna find NO ONE to bother purchasing these buses. Nice concepts but too much waste on "looks" than function
Is it weird i've never traveled bus alone and im 20 years old. I Have Bad members of school Trips, one Time old man was Come sitting near of me when i was front of Window Place and IT was talked to me and asking where are you come and where are you going with your school. IT was scary sitsuation and after that i've never Been in bus BUT those future bus designes are beautiful defenietely i like that Elysium Motorhome Consept Furrion, IT would Be really awesome living and going everywhere you Want with family or friends But sadly i dont Have a driving Car and never got a Car, its too hard and expensive me and busses are just too much. PS that video was truly interesting and future IS so amazing. 🚌
though theres a problem, buses are cheap in short terms, but on long terms its not. tire replacements is already a example that can boom out to be more expensive than a full year of keeping a tram its wheels clean including technician... again, i cant stop them, im just a human citizen, but i really want to change things
Streetcar infrastructure is very expensive to build though compared to busses which can use preexisting roads. Busses are great for expanding transit access.
@@TheAmericanCatholic Buses can't be as long as trams/streetcars so you have to employ more drivers to ferry the same no. of passengers, & also have more rolling resistance
@@lzh4950 yes on the very long run streetcars beat out busses but we need to increase transit NOW and increase it while using the least money to starve off nimby public outcry.
cons for this though you need alot of money to operate it and consumes lot of electricity to charge while trolleybus only need poles operated cheap long exist in 1900s not many materials to use. even a village named Solonceni can use a trolleybus
I've been watching these busses but how the hell can they be so big and used they must have LGE RDS or pass wierd would you drive them over here I like all but these are strange😮😢
Silly if designers think buses need an entertaining appearance, except for only maybe school buses. That's if children want to ride in a giant bug's gut everyday.
Here's my personal opinion on these concepts 15 practical but ugly 14 not even suitable for public transportation 13 pointless and completely impractical compared to just putting a poster on the side of a bus. 12 is just ridiculous. Having passengers enter and exit from the front completely defeats the purpose of efficient passenger flow also arranging passengers in classes on these busses will only make the flow of passengers slower as you're making the majority of passengers go onto the top deck. 11 This is a actual good concept a Bi articulated duel mode trolleybus however just get rid of the slant in the front because it makes the bus look off-putting. 10 It's just a box, it's the same design as 13 and the exposed articulation joints in the floor make the inside a bit dangerous. 9 Basically the same design as the XDE40s except autonomous that's basically it. 8 It's basically a over glorified van. Basically reinventing the driverless car 7 It's a good concept however it's still the same as a regular Bi articulated bus. 6 Who in their right mind would call this a bus? It's lot just a car Volkswagen simply just reinvented the autonomous car. A bus is a high capacity vehicle this is the polar opposite. This is basically replacing a Bus Rapid Transit line with a bunch of Tesla's 5 This looks like a melted bus it looks weird and wonky and in some cases ugly. Just use a regular hybrid bus 4 Same concept, weird design. It looks like a pillow and some of the feature such as seat count are not needed considering busses are ment for carrying large amounts of people. Plus the concept of magnetic suspension isn't really practical. 3 This concept is good in theory however when put into practice it looks wonky and weird 2 Good intentions however when put into practice it's completely impractical when compared to a trolleybus or battery electric bus 1 This is the 3rd only practical concept (15, and 11 are the others ) this bus integrates well into the cities and even the motor coach industry. It's simplistic and modern. The type every public transportation company wants.

As soon as it gets excited about a Mercedes bus you know they don’t know.
