    Those first 2 are literally just: ''I don't care were the plebs who take public transit go, just as long as they don't get in the way of my car.'' That mentality is why cities without proper alternatives to driving everywhere have HORRIBLE traffic.

    One of the characteristics of a safe, integrated, comprehensive & sustainable urban transit system (that includes walkability & alternative transport such as bikes & e-vehicles) is whether it's accessible & affordable for everyone - not just the wealthy few - including low-income earners, children, women & the elderly. Cities are for everyone, not merely the privileged elites (although the wealthy like to think to think they own their cities). As urbanisation increases significantly over the next few decades, current urban transit systems will also need to be scalable, connecting all parts of the city with each other. Modern transit systems must also not potentially bankrupt cities. Curitiba (Brazil) has an excellent public transit system that easily rivals that of London at a fraction of the cost. Curitiba's trash swop scheme provides free bus passes thereby subsidizing urban transit for low-income earners.

    • @TopBoxy

      A sustainable urban transport system must be diverse and interchangeable. These are variants of what new can be brought into existing networks.

    If any of these futuristic solution were going to be implemented we would have had them by now. Freezing temperatures in some areas would need more specialized solutions that this.

    • @giovannevaldez
      @giovannevaldez 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      that is a logical conclusion to arrive at considering the current state of human advancement. Furthermore, the technology required to take transport to futuristic levels already exists. However, it is also logical to arrive at the conclusion that humanity suffered an excessive amount blood shed/turmoil/tragedy to allocate funds/labor away from security and towards development in science, utility, legislation, and recreation. Meanwhile, freezing temperatures are definitely disadvantageous to systems that operate outside enclosed structures. In other words, climates that impose unfavorable conditions upon mechanical systems must be averted with either fortification or insulation. Nonetheless, such solutions are within humanities technological reach

    For me I see some problems in Design 1, Design No. 2 Why should I put it on the ground instead of strengthening the fence and put it on it instead it be something like a train and there is an escalator instead of a slide or stations and an electric walkway and this design Electrician and I think we can do that.
    As for Project 3, it is good, but I think that if it is connected to the skyscrapers, it will be more civil, and it is possible to build skyscrapers that allow the passage of such a project and it will be easier. As for Project 4,5, I think it's good. As for the 6th project, some problems must be solved, such as maintenance. If something is broken, I think it is under development and solutions can be found. As for Project 6, I think it's a little complicated. It could be simpler than that. I think Project 8 is ideal, but such a design can be made, but in the form of a strong magnet, for example, and anything that blocks the road is transferred, for example, and is controlled electronically or personall Like a giant drone. Project 9 must have strong safety means. Project 10 I think it is one of the best things that I have seen and it has already been put into Tesla's self-driving, but it is not completely done. For example, if humans use the word self-driving completely, it will be much better and will significantly reduce accidents, because there will be no human intervention like someone drunk or something like that, and it will be faster And also luxury. It is also possible to put a wireless charger in the parking areas and it will be much better. I wish I could see this and do such projects myself.

  • @Mitchthemysteryman

    As a planner, I can say only one of these solutions would work: London Tube. The rest would be pretty expensive, plus if you're flying at a height below an airplane, you risk disrupting bird migration patterns. Please, please study up on planning theory before you put forward stupid stuff like this. Here are the real solutions: ridesharing, as a majority of people drive alone (would also solve gas crisis); creating bikable cities, as bikes take up far less space than cars and enable us to get more from our roads (would ALSO solve gas crisis); improving metro systems and capacity as to maximize the amount of people who can ride it (would also . . . you know what I'm going to say); Put bus exclusive lanes on busy roads, as to incentivize public transit over driving, which would help ease congestion; etc.

They crash when an *airplane* goes by these days - imagine when I driver fears getting stomped by a leg coming down or crashes into a leg using the tried-and-true "I didn't see it" excuse. And, of course, NONE of those cars will be straddling or skirting the guide rails.. And going 35MPH in between beach-goers? (No, the sand will never get in there). #2 was already shown to be someone trying to defraud the Chinese government out of money... This might work on alien roads but not with humans.
