They look amazing! Might I suggest putting some oil in the wheel holes so they roll better though as I can see Skarloey struggling to pull some of them. I made my own custom rolling stock out of modeling plastic (styrene) then had a n scale train pull them as a test. It struggled to pull two or three wagons but after a quick oiling, it was able to pull them easily, and they were heavier and very roughly made compared to your models here.
I bought some of your slate and open trucks, and just care to say that they're excellent! When painted and weathered they look like they came straight out of season 4. In short your hard work has certainly paid off.
Very nice models you made! And A knapford station roofkit sounds really neat! :) Whould be neat to get that if you make it available! I guess it's gonna fit two tracks under each roof section then like in the TV-series? Cus I was a bit dissapointed of Bachmanns version that only fits one track under each roof section.
The plan would be to have two tracks, however I've encountered some problems with the kit design so it will either take a long while to finish or be cancelled. The main issue for me is the price - it would be about 50 bucks per section and a section covers just two pieces of track so you'd need at least 9 I'd say unless you wanted to make it longer, in which case it'd be closer to 12 or more.
Love these new items currently finishing off a conversion model but plan to look into HOn30 soon after but was wondering if you were going to look into Ho Troublesome truck faces.
I was watching this video and the other 3d printed oo9 videos and I noticed your locomotive had a lot of wheel-slipping going on. How free-wheeling is your oo9 rolling stock?
These prototypes didn't run super well but my later versions are much much better. For more accurate footage of my OO9 stock running, I would suggest watching my Christmas Special story called "A Refreshing Change of Pace" which features the narrow gauge engines. There you might be able to get a better look at how my new ones roll. I won't pretend they run as well as off-the-shelf Peco products or anything, but they definitely work well enough. The wheels you use on these peices of rolling stock also matters a lot. You might need to try a couple of different types and sizes to find what works best for you, but I know of quite a few people who managed to find wheels that ran to their liking. Hope that helps!
I don't know if I will to be honest. While I do like that band, the CGI series omits it and so to have an accurate CGI Skarloey, I need it without the band. Perhaps if one day I somehow make a Model Series Skarloey, then I'll add the gold band. Or else perhaps If I change my mind in future I suppose. Thanks for the comment!
They come more or less all together and just need to be painted, and add wheels and couplers. Most of the rooves are also removable in case you want to get inside.
You could sell narrow gauge body shells for each engine for your shape ways shop so people can just buy a chassis slap the shell on and BAM, just a suggestion btw. xD
Also, you could also try to make the narrow gauge breakdown crane and have it on ur shapeways shop. just suggesting random things that i think would be intresting :P.
Only the green coaches. If you really want seats in the other types, you can easily remove the roof and add some of your own seats with balsa wood or matchsticks or something like that.
Well the price all depends on how much it costs to make the actual thing. And I compare my prices to other people's similar ones and make sure it's all as cheap as possible.
Elsbridge Productions I meant the size of the rolling stock, for 009 gauge the common width of the wagons and coach's does not Usually excede 22 millimeters of width, thank you for your reply, by the way I love your 009 layout , it seems out of the norm and unique for some reason compared to other layouts set on the Sudrian isle :)
Luke Stables Ah, I see. Well when I designed the rolling stock I used many reference images and also measured existing peco narrow gauge trucks for the specifics, so it's as accurate as I can get it. But thank you for your interest!
These look great

Scott Lewis Thank you very much for your kind words!
Wow! Stunning work!
thanks!

I don't have the skills to make Troublesome Truck faces, sorry. But there are other people who make some on Shapeways.

When do you suppose you'll paint the band around Skarloey's funnel gold?

So are the shapeway items kits? Like do you have to make them or are they put together as a full mold?
They come more or less all together and just need to be painted, and add wheels and couplers. Most of the rooves are also removable in case you want to get inside.

Yeah I'll look into it
thanks for looking into my suggestion. :)

Yeah, maybe. I'll see. thanks!
Elsbridge Productions no problem and thanks for taking my suggestions to consideration :)
great models cause it awesome
Gray Wheatley Thanks!
With your new OO slate wagon can I ask what were the chassis wheel bearing measurements as I am currently working on a OO conflat.
The axel boxes are 2.1cm apart if that's what you're asking.
Yo what quality you printing with. Really want to buy these next payday.
I've just been using white strong and flexible plastic. Thanks for the interest!
With shapeways dead, what are you gonna do now since these items can't be made now?
@sabertooth3studioshq838 right now I'm selling copies of my files for personal use so that people can print them at home
@elsbridgeproductions ok. And where can one find these files?
@sabertooth3studioshq838 if you contact me through twitter, instagram, or bluesky we can discuss which ones you're interested in and prices
@@elsbridgeproductions ok, so where's your Twitter?
@@sabertooth3studioshq838 it's @elsbridgep
TYPO! GUNPOWER! WOO!
Fixed, cheers!
Its amazing what 3d printers can make. Great job.
Are you gonna make Bogie SKR Coaches by any chance?
I haven't planned on it, but perhaps in the future. We'll see!
Is there any way that I can use some of the music from some of my videos
I don't own the music. It is Fiddlesticks' music, so you'd better check his channel
Do the coaches have seats in
Only the green coaches. If you really want seats in the other types, you can easily remove the roof and add some of your own seats with balsa wood or matchsticks or something like that.
Where did you get the wheels from
The wheels I used were often Atlas N scale wheels from cheap American rolling stock, but I recommend just trying a few out and seeing what works
How did you make the narrow gauge cars
I designed them on computer and had them 3D printed
How about a rws tidmouth roof kit or a rws vicarstown 1921-1926 roof kit
nah, there wouldn't be a market for them really
I have Ho I'm getting N scale soon
your layout is so good I want to make a replica of it deticated to you
ha, thanks!
Elsbridge Productions your welcome
Love the music
Honestly mate I love you
Only Death Awaits Me haha, Thank you!
Elsbridge Productions I have one brass coach kit which is a nightmare, so I'm very glad you made these
Only Death Awaits Me Glad I could help!
Elsbridge Productions just ordered 2 coaches
Only Death Awaits Me Nice! I hope you enjoy them!
Would the lamps fit trackmaster? Awesome video mate!
Cheers Mate,
Bailey D. :D
Yep, they should!
Elsbridge Productions thanks!
No problem!
I like these very much but feel that the other pieces of rollingstock besides the slate wagons are a wee bit too big, keep up the good work.

You should make a cgi couplings
