Well it's that time of year again where I creep out of the shadows to drop a new video and then crawl back into hibernation for another year! I started making this video much earlier than usual, and I think that was a good decision. It was still down to the wire in the end (as always), but it was enjoyable and once all the pieces came together I started to really like the final product. It's definitely not perfect, but I think it's enjoyable enough.
I'd like to thank my wonderful voice actors, who really knocked it out of the park this year. Thanks as well to the wonderful musicians whose music really ties this project together.
While I may be the one who films and edits these videos, they are really a group effort, as without the voice actors, musicians, 3D modellers, and countless sources of inspiration, these videos would really be lacking something special.As always, I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed making it.

What a wonderful story. It's nice to see the scenario of what could've been brought to life if Toby didn't arrive. Any Thomas story that adheres to good railway practices and entertains at the same time is definitely a winner in my book!

I knew there was a reason I loved you, Wow- this felt just like watching a lost episode, the visuals couldn’t have been better & I had to marvel at finally seeing Thomas as a proper Tram. People like you are able to extend you arms with love and let thomas die happily in them knowing that he’s been a really useful engine

Thomas said that passengers would laugh at him if he looked like a tram, but I had to try not to laugh, even audiences find it funny.
Even tho there's season 2 characters this gave me season 1 vibes for some reason
Actually I personally think that the side plates can have a transparent net at each driving wheels, so that we can still see Thomas'a beautifully painted blue wheels while moving.
And that shall allow him to breathe out steam from pistons more comfortably.
I Loved The Reference To Thomas In Trouble In The Railway Series Book Toby The Tram Engine In This Story And Thomas Did Wear Cowcachers and Sideplates Even if It Was Embarrassing and Funny This Was a Good Hardworming Story Thank You I Loved It.

Well I'd never thought I'd see the day where someone takes advantage of Thomas In Trouble, this was put together perfectly!
There's also a story where the Constable tickets a load of cars including his Sergeant's, resulting in him being transferred to a desk job.
Rosie also meets a Constable but he's more friendly and says the Fat Controller arranged with the Chief Constable to revoke the law because of increased loads
"Everyone will laugh, Sir," said Thomas. "They'll say I look like a tram!"

In Strasburg PA, during the Day Out with Events, we can see Thomas with the Cowcatcher!
Looks like this came true after all, Thomas wearing side plates and cow catchers like Toby.
And does you and anyone else notice that Thomas doesn't have a cowcatchers at the rear? Only the front has!

Yeah I usually add ballast but I didnt want to add snow to the ballast as it would be hard to separate them again.

A cowcatcher wouldn't actually double as a snowplough as it's slotted; it would let snow through (as an American train engineer discovered to his horror during the Great New York Blizzard of 1888)
Yeah I did think about that. I guess I decided to go by the TV series logic where toby and mavis never seem to need ploughs, as well as the fact that the snow wasn't too heavy

@@elsbridgeproductions I wanted to know of how you managed to film the engines up close with perfect accuracy in an area or even focused on an engine. I was thinking about next year after my spring semester of college is over is doing my own stories of engines using hornby models similar to Thomas just make up my own characters. What do you think?
@@kennethjoseph9309 I just filmed with a Canon EOS 700D and changed the focus to be on whatever I needed to see in the shot

I suppose this is based more on the TVS canon where we never see Toby with a cowcatcher. I always assumed that he either wasn't strong enough to clear snow or that he didn't need one for light snow thanks to his cowcatchers.

Was the snow temporary or permanent here? If temporary, ya vacuumed up the snow to make it spring again or?
If permanent, I presume you duplicated the spring variant of the sets, huh?
The snow is temporary, just bicarb soda which I cleaned up afterwards. The spring sets I think were built separately, yes
are the cowcatchers & side plates still available in your shop?
Unfortunately I can't upload the cowcatchers to my shop as I didn't design them. If people are really interested I might be able to make some though using my new Toby shell I've been making
