Novice/ first time rider here. My first bike is an 08 sportster 1200. It seems very heavy for me. I'm doing the rider safety course and they have us on smaller 250's that feel comfortable for me. I haven't ridden my bike yet so i hope the comfort level i have on the smaller lighter less powerful bike transfers to mine , with a lot of practice of course. The weight of my bike makes me really nervous. People spend that much on a bike and are too tight to replace the battery. It's got 12.8 volts doesn't mean it's a good battery with good connections. I could make a fortune out of these people.
