The player then gets a custom fit and maybe some customisation (this varies depending on player and status within the brand). When choosing your boot look for: 1. Correct playing surface 2. Sizing, Fit & Comfort Everything else is up to personal preference and will only trivially impact your actual performance.
Stars have sponsors, but pros dont. Do you really think a bench warmer in Ligue 1 has a boot deal? Or a Seria C Striker? Or that 1. Liga goalie in Poland? Yet, they are all pros.
I think 1 more important detail to add to the "who plays the same style of football" is top tier pros are getting paid to use some specific boots. I love my mercs but I'll happily use phantoms or tiempos for millions of bucks. Even for much less money :D
I remember in about 2006/07 they decided to put covers over the laces on the mercurials v's they did look nicer but didn't do much in terms of touch or feel, now they have laceless boots which I've never gone too. Can't imagine boots without laces, it's probably beneficial for goalies.
Ronaldinho wore nike tiempo's, known as a control touch boot however he was fast & strong (with a great touch). I think the whole speed boot is a marketing tool as there is really only 50/70 grams difference per boot, thats not going to make a measurable difference in performance, either you are fast or you are not! Play the boots with the correct studs for weather that are the most comfy 🤷♂️
If you are fast then get a boot with stud pattern that allows you to run fast. If you are agile then get a boot that has a wider stud pattern so that you have lateral stability.

Comfort and stability should be above everything, a tight boot cramping feet in is so bad, even just pushing the toes together slightly, injuries will happen far more often with bad fitting boots
I use to wear old skool boots for 11aside, Copas or Kaiser 5's but with our crap British weather it effects your grip on the surface, so I use them on 3g now, I know you can get them modified so they have metal studs also but I think they cost a fortune.
Please do center mid videos drills like turning Scanning passing and shooting and Etc please Do. videos on ankle Rotation I can’t tilt the ankle or more for passing or shooting

Ngl u got it wrong with the superflys they are simply a speed boot and don’t do certain things anywhere near as well as other boots. Furthermore, boots simply give you confidence on the pitch. I don’t like lace less boots but they are not completely useless to some players. Personally, I like leather boots and will be buying the mizuno Morelia 2’s very soon

The boots were never too heavy in the past 40 years. A boot weighing 320 grams or 170 grams makes zero difference in the way you move.
