This is probably one of our worst videos since the beginning 😂 but I just had so little to work with and no time to add our commentary to fill in the story. Basically, we drove the second half of the McGrew and I really thought we were going to die.
Mad props for taking that truck on that trail, especially the off-camber. I have a MEGACAB with FWC and wouldn't wanted to be on the cliff!
Watching it again gives me panic attacks! The GoPro really put into perspective how narrow it is!
Oof yeah a mega AND a camper no thanks. Scott did really well in the SD and leaf springs all the way around with his setup. But now that’s it’s done… no need to go back 😂
It sure felt like we were leaning way more than in the video 😆
haha it for sure did
Very interesting watching the suspensions working on the vehicles. The poor puppy needs a hot tub at the end of the day. His suspension is probably sore!
I know! Poor dog! He got many days doing his favorite thing, chasing sticks in lakes.
You are not kidding! He was a trooper all the way through it
Looks like an awesome trail and a good time. Glad you made it through. 🤙🏼
For sure a good time, but I won’t be going back haha. Just checked it off the list
@@ChambersFamilyOverland I hope to do it someday, maybe after I get more pinstripes though🤣
That shelf road looked terrifying! Way to go making it through with your full size rig 🙌. Really enjoyed seeing the challenges on the trail.
It gives me anxiety just watching the footage again! 😬😬😬
@@courtneychambers9214 I bet! 😬
In the moment it was like… ehh it’s ok. But looking back… not so much 😂
So... which set of scratches was worse? The ones on the outside from the brush, or the ones on the dash from Courtney? 🤣 Just kidding. I know how you feel. Every time I have to run a tight trail like that when I'm in the passenger seat it drives me nuts. Subconsciously you know that you have no control over what happens, and that makes the adrenaline start to flow, which makes you even more anxious. It's always way easier to be in the drivers seat on something like that. You did good kid!
This 100% in the moment it didn’t seem bad at all. Courtney and the kids jumped out at the grave where the other guy fell off and died haha…
There was a section we didn’t get on film that I was guided through. And it was funny because my onboard camera didn’t agree with what I was being guided, so I was fighting it all the way though. Definitely a experience!
😂 100%!
should set up the osmo pocket for the shots that are moving by and control it with your phone.
or can you do that?
Not wirelessly. It has follow like the drones but it’s buggy. It was a pain to radio everyone and be like “ok we need to stop to film” got old. That’s why there is so much in cab GoPro
I really don't mind watching your videos, but using the same intro in each of these episodes, and then having the episode *not* contain what's teased in the intro, is kind of messed up. It's a great way to get good watch time, but feels like clickbait. You reeled us in three times now and then didn't show the thing we've been waiting to see.
I appreciate what you are saying. We were “advised” to set it up like a series you’d watch on tv. And we expected to have it well done by now, just got way caught up in real life. And I didn’t want to just glaze over the climax. I’m adding in the rest of the details. I’m out now as we speak as and soon as I’m home I’ll have the last episode wrapped up
The thing everyone’s been waiting to see (the fire) was literally the last day of our trip, so we’ve been making these in order. Tonight will be the final episode finally! Haha Life got super busy and we both work, so we didn’t get this one out timely like we hoped we would.
Well, it's finally live... let us know what you think
