Hello engr! Attend ka ng mga free webinars ng DOST. Follow them on social media. There are also organizations that offers paid webinars (search them on Facebook). You can also upgrade your skills by learning different software such as numerical simulations/finite element analysis (Ansys), 3d modelling (Solidworks, AutoCAD etc) and coding (matlab, python). These are the skills na in demand ngayon sa field of engineering. If you have time, you can also take a masters degree to build your credential.

Yung PME licensure naman po is for those people with 4 years mechanical engineering experience reckoned from the date they became Registered Mechanical Engineer. Yung exam ng PME is parang thesis defense. Need i-defend kung enough ba yung experience mo to be given the PME license.

In general, ang advice ko sayo ay continue learning. Learn things and develop skills that you can use sa actual mechanical engineering profession not just here in the Phil but also abroad. Hi! Usually kung gusto nyo po sa R&D, you can consider pursuing for a masters degree and a PhD first (you can also take your masters habang nagwowork if kaya ng time nyo po). Then apply to government agencies/universities such as DOST, UP, Mapua, DLSU etc. or better options are universities abroad (US, Korea, Japan etc). You can get scholarships from universities abroad. Other private companies such as Dyson, Shell etc. also has R&D

Ako po ay isang ME na nagtuturo before ng Machine Shop 1&2 and Advance Manufacturing process like SLA and FDM 3D printing.😄
