Nurse ako dito sa New York City earning $10,500 a month with yearly salary increase (net pay $7,500) kasi may 403b ako at 10% of my salary and nilalagay ko mga $1,100 a month. Gross pay for 2024 is 133,000. Nag loan kami ng bahay which i'm the one paying, groceries, water at electric bill ako din. Our life here is comfortable, syempre mami-miss mo ang pinas. We try to save para sa pang bakasyon sa pinas every year, and sometimes kung kaya travel din somewhere else (so twice a year ang travel). Wala... nganga! Walang ipon.
Yes..binabawas talaga sa sweldo. Even the healthcare binabawas na din. Kaya sya sinasabing libre kasi hindi ka na magbabayad once you go see the dentist or doctor (kasi you already paid for it) I mentioned it throughly in my other video - MASARAP BANG MAMUHAY SA CANADA ☺️

You forgot to include your expenses like monthly apartment rent or mortgage & other expenses in Canada. in the Philippines most of the RN living at home & eat home meals.
PH nurses in a Cruiseship (atleast the company I am working) have a salary of 5200usd tax free plus hospital income commission. not to brag just giving info to those interested nurses who wants to work and travel for free at the same time. other companies are paying even higher. but ofcourse, you have to know the pros and cons, dyor.
Don't forget to mention sa 401K. (Stock option). My wife retired RN in the US. She retired and is receiving 3 monthly pensions. (Federal retirement,Trift saving plan (TSP), SSI). She is now happily retired and enjoying her full retirement. Btw her stock is close to $1M
Chasing the dreams and running against time.
Hindi lahat. but it’s a big part of many reasons. Kasama pa din po ung safety and security, better future sa mga anak, better health care system and education opportunities, to make use of our individual talent and skills na hindi maexpress at macontribute due to lack of opportunities and resources, para din makatulong sa mga family members for remittances, ultimately contributing sa Philippine economy and lots more. So to think na ang lahat dahilan para mg abroad is sa sahod is a bitter, cheap, selfish , insensitive assertion.
Sana po may macontent kayo about without experience as nurse in Philippines pero nakapagwork dyan a as a nurse or practical nurse while preparing for nclex and the likes

Hello. I am about to take my last year of nursing school (4th year) here in the Philippines. I would like to ask if the 2-year work experience is a must or if there are hospitals that accept newly graduated nurses.
YES, BIG SALARY HERE BUT BIG EXPENDITURES TOO...I STUDIED N WORKED IN VANCOUVER, CANADA FOR 40 YRS N TOO MUCH DEDUCTIONS IN UR PAY CHEQUE.. NOT TOO MANY NURSES BACK THEN, WE WORKED 13 HRS A DAY ..ANYWAYS I'M HAPPY TO SPEND ALL THOSE PENSIONS IN THE PHIL'S NOW... SAVE ALL UR HARDERNED MONEY....GODBLESS...
Yes, mas malaki sahod sa ibang bansa, but the Philippines is a good training ground though for nurses & other healthcare or medical workers. The result is that Filipino nurses are well thought of pagdating sa ibang bansa.
Let others find out about you, don't go broadcasting it on social media.
good training ground nga pero inaabuso naman ng gobyerno dyan sa Pinas, i've experienced being a volunteer registered nurse in a gov't hospital before & I handled 1 unit with at least 30 patients at wala akong sahod o kahit libreng lunch man lang o kahit transportation allowance, inaabuso ng gobyerno ang mga nurses sa atin hanggang ngayon, yan ang totoong nagaganap

It's a hard job, the pay is not worth it! You really have to love it or else it'll wear you out. I admire all the nurses out there.
Thank you for your comment ☺️🙏
I’ll take 120/yr anytime. It’s worth the hard work, not all work at all, some days are easy money.
Ang galing po ninyong magexplain.God bless!
Thank you! 🙏🙂🥰
Appreciate it kasi I'm doing a paper on Filipina nurses.
Thank you! Glad it helped 🙏☺️🥰
Re: allergies, you forgot to mention that your clothing detergent and your toiletries (soap, shampoo, deodorant, etc) should also be unscented. Needless to say unscented means, no body odor as well.
No scents makes sense. 😊
Nagtratrabaho din ako sa Hospital dto sa Germany as a maintenance,at nag eenjoy din ako sawork ko
good for you kabayan! 😊🙏
Thanks for the information provided.
You're welcome
Hi Ms. Salee,, very inspiring ang mga kwento mo..
Thank you 🙏🥰❤️
Even the healthcare binabawas na din. Kaya sya sinasabing libre kasi hindi ka na magbabayad once you go see the dentist or doctor (kasi you already paid for it) I mentioned it throughly in my other video - MASARAP BANG MAMUHAY SA CANADA ☺️
I stayed 1 big room alone in the ICU University Hospital for 25 days kasi nagka Brain Hemorrhage ako due from Raptured anuerysm nitong April i undergo two operations kaya im in a closed monitoring by Nurses, Dr and my Nuerosurgeon kasi they are anticipating baka magkaroon ako ng complications (Vasospasm and hydrocephalus) after. Patient reported two filipina nurses dahil talaga namang they cannot used their inner voice nakakahiya kahit patient ako i said sorry sa ibang patient .
Thanks for sharing. Glad you're okay na 🙏🙂 take care
Very informative. Thank you .
Laki po sahod.
Glad it was helpful! 🙏🥰
Heya i can totally relate. Nurse here on the east coast!

Kita niyo? No work, no pay nga lang kasi contractual.
February 27, 2024, Tuesday. Philippines. Thank you, Salee, for your candid revelations. My youngest son is a government nurse. He seems happy and comfortable in his work.
thank you for watching 🙏😊
You forgot to include your expenses like monthly apartment rent or mortgage & other expenses in Canada. in the Philippines most of the RN living at home & eat home meals.
Hehe . Subscribe kona po kayo mam :)
Very true!!
thank you for watching 😊🙏
Some of those benefits are for full time staff only.
thanks
Hi question po, how about if may US License/nclex passer po need pa po ba mag school or ano po steps to work there as a nurse.?
hello, I think you can use the nclex in Canada since they already switched to Nclex test, but be sure to confirm with the employer.
napakalinaw ng paliwanag ni maam
thank you 🙏😊
I am not a nurse but I was so amused listening to your narratives... lols
Yay! Thank you 🥰🙏 I currently working on my story telling skills.. ☺️
The nurses at Kaiser Hospital in SF Bay Area CA make about $75/hr.
👍yes☺️
Don't forget to mention sa 401K. (Stock option).
My wife retired RN in the US. She retired and is receiving 3 monthly pensions. (Federal retirement,Trift saving plan (TSP), SSI). She is now happily retired and enjoying her full retirement.
Btw her stock is close to $1M
SSI are program for poor seniors.
Chasing the dreams and running against time.
Thanks for sharing 🙏☺️
Hindi lahat. but it’s a big part of many reasons. Kasama pa din po ung safety and security, better future sa mga anak, better health care system and education opportunities, to make use of our individual talent and skills na hindi maexpress at macontribute due to lack of opportunities and resources, para din makatulong sa mga family members for remittances, ultimately contributing sa Philippine economy and lots more. So to think na ang lahat dahilan para mg abroad is sa sahod is a bitter, cheap, selfish , insensitive assertion.
Agree
thanks for all the info
you're welcome and thanks for watching 🙏
Hi Ms Salee, just subscribed your chanel. Have a great day.😀
thank you 🙏😊 you have a fantastic day! 😊
Is it cheaper to live in Canada or here in California? Watching your video here in Fremont, California.😀
it will depend where in Canada. Cost of living varies depending on location. Vancouver and Toronto are much expensive than the rest of Canada.
@@salee_talks Here in my place (outside San Francisco) 1 bed room apartment cost 2,165 U.S. dollars.
America is not the same as before. I’ve been living here in California for 33 years. Everything is expensive nowadays.
bravo!! entertaining.. .
Thank you 🙏😊
If you want to make money, leave Canada and work in the US,where Canadian nurses make more,100$ per hour.

Still nurses like to go abroad
Ok ma'am I like your explanation
Salamat sa infos..

Mam salee napakagaling nyo po magsalita. Very clear and so informative. May i just ask po, how to become a nurse there in Canada? Do i still need to study? I was an ofw nurse in Saudi for almost 10 years.
Hello, they need to reassess your credentials. You can check websites of where you intend to work in Canada to find out their requirements.
Thank you po mam. i’ll be waiting for more interesting videos of you. 😊

Kaiser North California pays $100-$120 average PER HOUR

SoCal pays 3/4 of that.
4 to 5k euro a month thats a lot of money. how much is your expenses dyan po and if you minus everything how much is left.

Hello ate salee ❤❤❤
Thank you sa info po very informative.
Can you give us an idea about differences in working in acute care vs. Long term care facility dyan sa Saskatchewan?
If no experience ka po sa long term, possible kaya na ask some friends na nasa long term care facility😊😊😊

Dapat sinasabi m rin n dapat mag aral k pa jn dahil may kulng ang curriculum ntin sa Pinas n dapat i take up.
thanks for watching
Yes magkaibang magkaiba talaga
Sahod ng regular nurses $55/hour, pag contractual $72 to $85/hour but no work, no pay at walang benefits.
Search mo nursing jobs Australia. Ang dami, mamili ka.
@@gilnebres3119kaiklala ko Australyano, pumupunta pa sa Pinas for dental care. Bakit kaya?
Hello. I am about to take my last year of nursing school (4th year) here in the Philippines. I would like to ask if the 2-year work experience is a must or if there are hospitals that accept newly graduated nurses.
It is a must nung nag apply ako sa agency. It depends kasi sa employer mo kung need nila ng experience or hindi. But for me, it is a requirement.
Enjoy
Tama... At minsan kapos pa rin pag aasa sa sahod lang 😉👌 kaya i love exploring other streams of income 🤗
@@ritamejia4133 Happy until you need medical insurance or have catastrophic medical issue.
Yes, mas malaki sahod sa ibang bansa, but the Philippines is a good training ground though for nurses & other healthcare or medical workers. The result is that Filipino nurses are well thought of pagdating sa ibang bansa.
Yes 👍 😃You are sooo correct! 💯 Kumbaga sa skills, walang tatalo sa pinoy nurses.. kaya kahit ano at kahit saan.. kayang kaya! 😃💪👌
Let others find out about you, don't go broadcasting it on social media.
How about the taxes maam?
good training ground nga pero inaabuso naman ng gobyerno dyan sa Pinas, i've experienced being a volunteer registered nurse in a gov't hospital before & I handled 1 unit with at least 30 patients at wala akong sahod o kahit libreng lunch man lang o kahit transportation allowance, inaabuso ng gobyerno ang mga nurses sa atin hanggang ngayon, yan ang totoong nagaganap
