Another great spot and video. Timber looks great. By your videos you've had a good season so far. Really like how you do your transitions. Had a winter camp last year that I felt the same thing. Like you the best for me is just to stay there and let Mother Nature do her work. Take care and have a good fall hang, Al
My buddy and I are going to make this hike as soon as we can this year. Considering hiking through to Geiger lakes but we'll see what happens. Great video and thanks for sharing!
I had planned on getting to Geiger Lakes as well on this trip. I just loved the Bear Lake that I stayed at too much. If you go early, you'll be able to have fires. The campsite where I stayed on the 2nd night had an amazing fire pit. It was tough not to have a fire that night.
I'm going backing in the Cabinets for the first time and looking for your recommendation... I'm staying two nights and 3 full days. Looking for roughly about 5-8 miles each way. Trying to have the best chance at not seeing any people and being remote as possible - and fishing! Would you recommend this route or one of your other trips in the area as the best fit?
I think that this route fits that description, though I have no idea about the fishing. Be on the lookout for bears when you’re in there. Have a great trip!
Title. Subtitle. Lol To put things in perspective, I didn't get out backpacking at all this season. I would have liked to get out there even if I wasn't completely into it.
Glad you decided to stay. I've had feelings similar to yours but always am glad when I decide to stay and enjoy the wilderness
Me too! I'm still not sure exactly what was bothering me but that lake was so beautiful that it kept me there.

I've had this happen a couple times before. Then it's just best for me to slow down. As always, thank you for watching!
Glad that other camper/hiker didn't totally ruin your trip, looks beautiful there. Thanks for the videos!
Sometimes you just have to make the best of things. In an area as beautiful as that, it's not that hard. Thanks for watching!
Cabinet Mountains look pretty nice, thanks for sharing!
They are probably the most dynamic looking range, in the area close to me. Thanks for watching!
Very nice lake. Would love to wake up with that view.
It was a really neat place. I'm hoping to get back there next year.
👍
Sure liked the look of Baree Lake.
I was surprised how big it was! Only a couple campsites there, but I hope to go back there with in the next couple years.

Great music in this video. This is the only music I can tolerate in videos.
Thank you!! I really appreciate that because all of the music in the video is original music.
Awesome.
Thank you!

When I was out there I was questioning myself whether or not I have been going too much. Not to rub it in...
What did the guy say to you that upset you?
It was nothing in particular. Sometimes you just know when it’s time to move on.
