I had a hiking dream two or three nights ago where I was in the local balcony bar, and the nice waitress was bar tender, and I just got a big old coffee that looked just like your post, a big dream mug, best of both worlds. Clear as day in the dark of the balcony bar..... who is coming wandering??? I worked for Clark fork fish hatchery in college, and miss the west , from Illinois, cheers. Maybe it was just a coincidence, although my bar hiking dream was a first, and the evolution of solo hiking dreams of the most important walking areas in the world that I could imagine... mountain paths and scenic grandeur....
Wonderful! Great to get out there with you! Love the pups going along too! The little guy/girl does awesome too! Temps must have been pretty good! Thank you!
I am doing my first backpacking trip ever in two weeks time and this channel is one of a handful that inspired me to try it out. You are frequently taking trips not too far from me, hope to run into you on the trail one day!
Great video! I've thought about hiking that trail for years. I scrambled down from Wanless Lake to Buck Lake before. Swamp Creek trail might be an easier way to get to Wanless with out the big elevation climb. Thanks for sharing
I've wondered that too! If going up Swamp Creek would be better than going up to Wanless. We didn't make it far enough up Swamp Creek to tell though. I'll definitely be back through there again though!
@@mountainwanderer I'm from North Indian state of Himachal....it is a region where we have more than 3 ranges of mountains ....some of the most popular ones you can search for are Kinnaur, Spiti, Shimla, Manali.....famous for its culture, mountains and Gods.....you can search these places online.....there might be some good quality content here on TH-cam...and I'm planning on rocking content about this state in the future too...... Damn Travis, your low key videos are just perfect. You make us feel like we are there with you. Keep up the good work. BTW, regarding the background music; I noticed some chord progressions I hadn't heard before. Did you write some new stuff or simply shuffle some things around a bit? I just finished a 12 hour day and I'm sipping some "special coffee" that might perhaps be influencing my perception. Regards, Tom
Those are both my songs in there. One I use pretty frequently, but I assume that it's the other one you're referring to. I've use that song many just one time before. Both of those songs are in the same key and very similar. I almost changed it, but in the end just went with it. Enjoy your special coffee! About time for me to get one myself!
Great video, as always. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for checking it out!

That is awesome! That is the kind of mug I drink coffee out of every morning!
Beautiful area!
It really is, we didn't even get up into the really good stuff!

It's unseasonably warm and we haven't had much rain this year.... might be a bad fire season this year. Thanks for watching!
Looks like another fun backpacking trip Travis. And no snow!
We're seeing less and less of the snow now, but that just means I'll go higher in to the mountains!
Hello my friend, another nice adventure. You go into some really beautiful country. Thanks for sharing. Take Care and Keep Exploring The Outdoors.
Thank you so much! The Cabinet Mountains do not disappoint!
Love the Cabs! And, it's Indian Paintbrush time in the region! Great shot @5:00.
I wish we could've gone back farther because I think that the views would've been even better!

Congratulations! A whole new world is about to open up! Have a great trip! Maybe we will bump into each other on trail, that would be great!
Enjoyed the views as always. That little terrier was a real trooper keeping up with ya'll!
He was a trooper! He had to work hard, but I think that he enjoyed it!
Another awesome video. Looked like a real nice area. Another month and I can throw on a pack/ride a bike. Can't wait to hit the trail. Take care, Al
The higher country is starting to dry out and the snow is melting. It's time to get out there! I hope you have some great adventures!
Great video! 👍🏼 I need to remember this one for a good spring snow-free hike
I think that this one does melt out early in the season. We barely saw any snow. Thanks for checking it out!
Looks like a beautiful area!
It is! We didn't even get back there as far as I wanted to. I know that the peaks get more spectacular the farther in you go.
Lovely trail, creek looks amazing, nice camping spots :)
Thanks for taking the time to watch!
It was a jolly hood time indeed. Thanks for bringing me along. FYI I'm still in the editing process of my video of the adventure.
It was an awesome trip! A little too short, but we'll take what we can get.
Movin to Trout Creek for retirement. Can't wait, just a few more weeks. See you on the trail bud! I need a good huckleberry patch. Got a spot for me?
That is great! Happy retirement! Maybe we'll run into each other out there.
My! Good to be in the mountains again.
Bob Alb erta.
Indeed it is!

Great hike.....have got some places in my hit list too here in Indian Himalayas .... let's see when this covid thing comes under control....
God bless, you guys are having a heck of a time with covid right now. Stay safe.
@@Russell.Jolly.2023 Thanks mate
Thank you! I haven't seen anything from the Indian Himalayas, but just by the name alone, it sounds amazing!

I would love to watch some of your videos from that area once you get them rolling!
Did you bring along the "Snake-Bite" kit? (Crow)
Since it was a special trip being Jesse's first trip of the year, we brought some Irish Whiskey. For the rest of the summer though, it's the Crow!

Should have invited me your right in my backyard.
You have an amazing back yard!
@@mountainwanderer I dont ever see you guys fish much. All the lakes/creeks have outstanding fishing.
You don't see it because I don't fish...😀
