I am a beagle owner myself and raising him was the toughest thing as there was hardly any beagle specific information on the internet. So I took it on me and decided to share all the knowledge that I learned the hard way. In my videos, I cover all kinds of topics related specifically to beagles. This is so true! On number 6 you mentioned "mental stimulation", sometimes i see people walking their Beagle or any dogs with a collar, then pulled it when they start sniffing the ground or grasses - they forget that every dog needs a balance of both mental and physical stimulations. Letting our Beagle sniffing around while walking is a win-win situation by letting their physical and metal get stimulated. My 8 months old Beagle use to track her dog's friends and will find their location everytime i walked her by sniffing the ground 😅 and i will encourage her to do so by saying "find it" command 🤣
Yeah I ended up switching to a harness because of a beagle’s tendency to pull. I see that too with people. Dogs need that min to sniff around especially if they’re a hound
These are great points to make regarding mistakes that beagle owners make but one mistake that I would highly avoid is using treats or high value treats to train your beagle. No matter what you offer, your beagle will always loose interest and also because beagles are very foodie dogs, using food to train them will make them be more foodie and less obedient. Try no food and more of interactions.
I would love it if you could make a video about convincing parents to get a Beagle. It would make my life sooooo much better and help a lot out!

Hi I’m having a BIG problem with my 8 month beagle. He has severe separation anxiety. I tried many options to made hime calm like the tip you give on your videos but nothing works. I place a play pen in my living room with some kettlebells weights and he was able to climb the 30” pen. He already destroyed one of my sofas . 😩

Milo has already worked out that he needs to sit even before commanded for a treat. However, if there's no treat in sight, basically he's like "nah, not happening".

Great video! I would love a video on how to deal with "witching time". My 4-month puppy goes wild every day from 7 to 9 p.m. He gets totally out of control! Should I ignore it? I am told that it's a phase?
Same here... He goes wild from 7pm-9pm everyday. He is 3 months old.
Same here as well. Our beagle is now 15 weeks old and is still doing it. It has helped a little to take her for a walk after dinner to burn off some of her crazy energy and also a bit of play then bed around 9pm

My four years old beagle was sent to dog hostel for six months due to renovation of house. He is sleeping almost whole day & do not allow me sleep at night. since last three weeks, it's sleepless night for me.
At late night, he is demanding outing . many time it's at 2:00 AM.

I always play fetch with my Beagle since she was 3 months old. Its easy! Use 2 balls or 2 ropes or anything. Throw one ball, your Beagle will run and get it - then playing alone with another ball to distract him/her (making the ball on your hand seems more interesting), when he/she bring the first ball back to you and put it down, throw another ones. Insert "get it", "come!" and "put down" commands then you also train him/her to do so 🤗 Play with your Beagle inside your house or backyard first, then go slowly playing with him/her while walking with everything you find on the park (such as 2 piece of woods, etc.) to train her/his focus on you.
My Beagle more exciting to train while playing than with treats, so i always training her while playing. Wish you luck! Greetings from my 8 months old Beagle girl 🥰

Which months do beagles shed a lot?
If you brush your beagle every day, #1 he won't shed that much ever, and #2 it will become part of his routine and he'll want you to do it. Best of luck.

Age of the dog doesn't matter it's just a myth that "old dogs are impossible to train" you can train them easily. All the best buddy

Major focas on recall to break there over powering nose this is key otherwise you will spend your life looking for them..... Remember recall 👌
My 4 month old male beagle, starts biting me while playing with his toys and trys to hump a lot and sometimes at night he randomly starts biting.

You don’t train a beagle as much as you negotiate with them using food. 😂 Our girls were hard headed but they would do anything for food.

Training with treats is training your dog to do tricks for treats, not for you. It might be easier, but in my opinion; stupid.
