I am a beagle owner myself and raising him was the toughest thing as there was hardly any beagle-specific information on the internet. 😂😂😂I feel you. When our water heater sparked a fire, I had to wake up my man, my beagle and my lab/awesome mix. So much for them saving my life. Had it if been a giant meatball, I’m sure the story would be different!
My beagle doesn’t give me much choice. He just wines next to the bed until I lift the blanket for him to climb in. He prefers to be snuggled like a teddy bear.
Sometimes our beagle is in the bed with us, sometimes he's on the floor, sometimes he's on the recliner downstairs. He does what he wants lol

Our Beagle likes to sleep under the covers. However, she'll get too hot so she'll get out, sleep on top. Then she'll get cold and go back under the covers. And the cycle continues. Oh, and she stretches and tries to push us to the edge of the bed so she can starfish! Love her :)

My beagle snores loudly and also barks in her sleep. She sleeps at my feet but, if I get up to use the restroom, I come back to find her in my spot with her head on my pillow. She also hoggs the blankets. Anytime she sees a blanket she must leap on top of it and snuggle.

HA - my one LOVES sleeping under blankets.
Our 8-year old beautiful baby boy Beagle mix won't spend the night anywhere else but in our bed. He uses his little kalamata olive nose to burrow under the blankets. It doesn't matter if it's January or July, every inch of him - from his tail to his nose - must be under the covers. Once he chooses his location, he does his "trample down the grass" thing and plops himself down tight against the human he's chosen to be spooned by for the night. He makes contented little sighs and grunts as drifts off to sleep in Mama or Papa's arms. He's the cutest little cock-blocker you'll ever meet.

The funniest is when you roll over in the morning and he is sleeping under the covers with his head on the pillow next to you like a person. Looks at you like, what?

I love to sleep with my beagle. Sometimes he will just lie right next to me and it’s like a heater. Mine doesn’t make any noise but you can definitely feel the bond between me and my pooch.
I just love when they sleep next to you and start rotating through out the night and in the morning decide to stretch stabbing their paws on your ribs.

My wife and I share our queen size bed with 2 good size beagles and a terrier mix. Leg room gets tight at times but we love our dogs and their companion ship.
Same here queen with 2 beagles. They both sleep on my side, no leg room but worth it.
My 5 months old Beagle always sleeps with me 🥲 Never intended sleeping with my dog and never slept with them in the past (i had several dogs who already gone to Heaven) - but now my Beagle makes me addicted to sleep with her 🥲 she is so warm - its so comfy to snuggle to her and she always pee then licking herself before jump up to my bed 😅 She is so clean, she often cleaning herself like a cat and never stepped on her poos nor pees 🥰 I barely waken up at night, except she disturbed me by her wierd sleeping position 😅🤣
You're videos are awesome, I never owned a dog before and a beagle is my first type. And it's crazy he sleeps with me and sometimes he chooses his crate on his own. It's really nice!

It doesn't have to be an either or situation. My beagle is perfectly happy sleeping in his crate or on the bed. When they get tired, they will sleep anywhere.

My beagle will sometimes dig at his bed, but not ours. Other than that, the snoring actually doesn't bug us, it actually helps us sleep.

I use to sleep with my Beagle. Sometimes I didn't want him to, there were times I was so depressed and so anxious, I felt I transmitted the same feelings to him and I didn't want that 😔. He grew up with my daughter, so I gave him to her. She takes him everywhere she goes and I know he's in good hands with her.

Oh, yes, Beagles definitely like to move around when sleeping. Ours goes under the covers, over, under, etc. Sometimes my husband and I hardly open our eyes and just grab the covers and lift so he can crawl over, under!, We love him to pieces and wouldn’t have it any other way.

Our Beagle Shumaher always sleeps with us from the first day :)))) He Is sooooo warm and cute .
My beagle initially slept with my oldest for well over a year... but for some reason, he decided to sleep with us and has rarely gone back.... it’s certainly had an effect on intimacy so we’ve had to get more creative in that dept. It IS like having a 2 year old.
Funny thing is that my wife swore a beagle would never sleep in our bed years before we contemplated a dog... amazing how things change. She doesn’t love it, but accepts it nonetheless and will often put him in bed with us so he’s not whining about it

Ya my beagle digs into my back and puts me on the edge of my bed. I can’t stop it really, but his cuddles are worth it.

My wife and I have a king sized bed and FOUR beagles.
It can be absolute hell, but most the time it is an amazing snuggle puddle
Our Beagle is my 22 year old son's dog. He's a student and working part time as well so goes to bed later than me. The beagle always goes to bed with me. When he goes to bed he fetches her from my bed to sleep with him but she always come back to my bed after a while. It's true that they are very restless sleepers. She's usually all over the bed.

Growing up my cocker spaniel would get up during the night walk around a little and then get on the bed with another family member. When I was in adolescence and my hormones were raging she would sleep with me all night.

They are the best cuddle dogs. Not too big where they take up the bed. Our sleeps under the covers all night. even if I can't sleep deep, I can't move her. It may disturb her slumber
Our two youngest beagle girls sleep under the covers but our eldest girl prefers not to.
We have a king size tempurpedic so there's plenty of room!
Both cats sleep with us too. Wouldn't have it any different.
My Beagle boys start whinning around 10 PM they stare me in the eye then look towards the Bedroom and that's when I know they are saying " come on mommy ITS BED TIME!!! LOL

My beagle bites the sheets and rip small holes on it. He also bites my long hair and plays a LOT before he feels sleepy.
My beagle use to do this too when he was a puppy. Take your pooch for a long walk before going to bed. In this way your beagle's energy will be exhausted and you both will have a sound sleep.

They have a six sentence on sprints that are always a security guard and watch dogs as well they will always play other roles as well when your sick they will sleep with your company at anytime
We had ours in the bed day 1. We ended up getting a super king size before he was even fully grown. He does all of these behaviours.....and we love it

My beagle sleeps in my bed every night but she loves to hog the whole bed and leave me with just a small square😂
I accidentally stepped on my Labrador Murphy and fell in the night in the dark in my bedroom. When all the mayhem died down, I could not find my beagle puppy Wally that had been sleeping on the bed with us. After 10 minutes, I spotted his small face peeking out from behind the bed, and still had to coax him out a bit. So, I think self-preservation comes first for the beagle, not "save my master". Anyways, I never slept with dogs, but one night I woke to his little soulful eyes staring in to mine, his tail wagging then stopping, then wagging again as if asking to come up. Something just melted in me, and he sleeps on the bed three years now.
I actually had more amount of sleep by letting my beagle sleep in my bed. Whenever he slept in his crate during the night, he would want to have a pee break every 2 hours or so. If we decided to ignore his cry’s for a good 40 mins, we would wake up the next morning to an accident inside of his crate
My beagle sleeps with me. We are both little heaters under the covers, so if it's really cold we cuddle. If it's warmer, she has her side of the queen size bed and I have mine. But we do seem to fight over the covers at times!

My first beagle slept with me until he was too old to jump up into bed. He was a bit of a pain, in and outside of the covers, moving around to rearrange the blankets, that sort of thing but still welcome. My younger beagle now sleeps with me and only moves to get closer if I turn away, he must be pressed tight against my legs. So I say, go ahead, let him sleep with you, we both sleep better.

I consider a beagle a watch dog. They will sleep lightly, as they will go into security mode when you drift off.
But if in doubt, hug, cuddle and share your bed with your dog. You can always adjust if you need to.

My Beagle, Schutzie doesn't sleep next to me because she gets to warm and likes to be cool when she sleeps. But come 5am in the morning she comes over and keeps nudging me until I wake up and cuddle with her and give her a belly rub. She's the world's most spoiled Beagle.

My beagle just started to finally calm down and he is 13 months.
I really don't know why I got so lucky but mine is 4 months and she is very calm, when we go out beagle owners get amazed by how calm she is!!!! maybe is because I take her to the park at the morning and we walk after lunch or because I try to teach her one new trick every week!!

My beagle was just like a human stealing the pillow (literally sleep as a human with his head on my pillow), snoring (including doggy dreams) and farting in bed. When he was ready to settle in for the night, after digging to find the right spot, he'd always body slam my side and let out this long sigh before falling asleep. At some point he'd end up in either nuzzled in my arm or he'd be face to face breathing on me. I learned quickly that's a dangerous position to be in. He unknowingly pawed me in the face during one of his dreams. The downside for us was he was neutered shortly before we decided to let him sleep in the bed. Next thing I knew he became protective. I came in late and he started to growl. He had never done that before. After that he started not liking certain dogs and the list got smaller as he got older. I'm not sure if I'll let another dog sleep with me. I'm hoping it was just him. I probably will because he was always on the couch with me so how could I not let him on the bed. We all comment on our beagles because they are truly characters we can't live without!
Thats an interesting story, thanks for sharing it with us. Dogs often get protective for things and we need to teach them the correct behavior.
You must decide the first day you get your pup, if you let her sleep with you on the first day, and she accept, you just both made a pact that can never be broken, you have bounded, so yes it means dirty sheets, destroyed pillows, the dog twitching and planting it's fingernails on your bare back sometimes but I have been sleeping with Beagles for the last 15 years and well, now I cannot imagine a nigh without one

My baby Lyla will sleep through the night whenever my boyfriend and I put her between us at night. If she’s in her gated area in her bed she will wake up like 3 times a night. She’s barley 4 months so I hope she can sleep through the night alone soon 🥲

I've been sleeping with beagles since 1999. Never had a problem. If anything, I get better sleep with them as it's hard to get up when their warm little bodies are snuggled up to mine. Side note, I'm a heavy sleeper.
