  • This video shows why I replaced the Tecumseh carburetor on the Toro mower instead of rebuilding it and how to adjust the carburetor float if needed.

    i see you have 2 cents in the old carb the new one check it too if it has 1 or 2 cent most carbs you get from amazon have 1 and they wont run without the other cent they almost come like that shure cheap $20 but they dont run because of the other cent not being there then you got to get one pain in the ass,

    Learned more about your dog than carburetors. I don't think you mean leaking gasket, think you mean leaking needle and seat. You call the needle a pin, oh well.

    vent hole is blocked off.

      Where is the vent hole located? My engine is wide open the second it turns over. Linkage to Governor is correct and I cleaned the carburetor/new needle and seat. Thank you

      I did notice that the small Governor arm that sticks out of the side of the engine does have some play in it. The clip or the arm itself…hope it’s not gonna be a tear down situation of the engine.
