The Crabominable to Yeti Crab analogy doesn't really work though. Yeti Crabs got their name more for the excess off hair that sprouts from their exoskeleton rather than any association with ice or cold environments. In fact, they live at the bottom of the ocean within close proximity to hypothermal vents and use their hair not too keep warm, but to collect microscopic organisms. Judging by Crabominable's habitat being that of frigid mountains, I'd say the comparison is a tad too far fetched, despite the convenience of the crab's name.

While the stats suggest otherwise, it gets access to Spore and its signature move Strength Sap, putting a ultimate stop to any Mimikyu or Garchomp you keep complaining about. Just... Yknow. Slowly drain their life force while asleep. Sounds... Fun >:) 4-- Toucannon This thing is the best. It's a fucking toucan, for one thing. And if you don't like toucans then there's something wrong with you -notrlyplzdontkillme-. They're colorful, funny to look at from a frontal view, and... Fire from their beaks? Never heard of that one. Toucannon is just so original-- especially how the beak represents a meter with how it fires, and well, just it in general. Though originally I didn't like how a woodpecker evolves into a toucan, I reminded myself--this is Pokemon, anything happens. It's also got something interesting in competitive. Before dismissing it as a much slower Staraptor, one must look at that signature move: Beak Blast. Another one that cripples physical attackers that people... Well, rarely use. Admittedly, it's pretty frail (could take 20 from that sp. atk and take it into HP tho) for a bulky Pokemon, but should you use roost and some other stally stuff, then you're in for a good time. Plus, it's 120 attack. Off 100 BP move and Skill Link. That hurts (to everything but steels unfortunately) 3-- Lunala now it's the real meat and bones. I could go on and on about the next bunch, but I'm not gonna make this a video-in-text. Nebby was a fun thing in the game. Couldn't stay in the damn bag and was always a good laugh. But when I finally witnessed it for myself, it evolving into Lunala, I was awestruck. It's majestic as majestic can be. Representing the infinite night with its star-tipped corners, Lunala truly captures the night and moon. While solgaleo is cool and all... I chose Moon for a reason, and this thing was that reason. While other cover legends are amazing, none have touched me like Nebby. It was with you for the whole damn story! How could it not be personal? I don't usually name cover legends, because I want to preserve their serenity, awesomeness, power, majesty, mystical aura, etc. but Lunala was different. It was more like a friend than a great feared power. I thought how could I not name in Nebby (in respects to Lillie too!)? It was the best legendary I have ever caught (been playing since DPPt, and played some games before that recently), period. And obviously it's competitive viability has no need to have a mentioning--we all know how awesome it is. 2--Vikavolt This is the _good_ kind of clustered in a Pokemon. Unlike some... *koffkffgarchomp* It's all blended in so perfectly. It's multiple Pokemon, all in one, yet sooooo much better. Pinsir, but cooler. Galvantula, but more menacing. And throw in a pinch of mega Rayquaza jaws and a robotic look, and presto! Vikavolt is here. It's awesomeness is indescribable. It's proabably easily my favorite bug type and my favorite electric. But then there are a stats, and people's responses to it. Please, stop whining, all the butt hurts, that Vikavolt isn't exactly fast as hell. People act as if it's the end of the world... But what's really bringing the end is that horricfic sp. Atk stat, the typing, and Leviate. Though the 77/90/75 defenses leave a bunch to be desired, the ability to switch in on the ground types it would have feared if only an electric type are gone. Sure, most grounds have Stone Edge/Rock Slide, but it can take one and fire back the power of the railgun. Its arsenal, while a bit limited, is all it needs to destroy. If the look didn't already tell you that, that is. 1. Alright, this is a toss-up. Couldn't decide, just gave it to the both of them lol Marshadow and Primarina. Marshadow is perfect. Literally perfect, even in competitive with the only unresisted type combo in Pokemon, allowing it to wreak any havoc it desires. It's havoc is also no joke, with that awesome 125 attack and speed, this thing, once it finally gets released, will be a monster. It's signature move, Spectral Thief could easily spell game over for sweepers if the Marshadow is either sash or if it's just faster. It not only takes the stat boosts, but also _strips_ them! You've given it the power by setting up, and now it's your downfall. Even design wise, it reminds me an awful lot of... Well, literally any fighting anime. At first it's humble, pretty cutesy and looks like you could pet it to oblivion. But when it's gets pissed it's like it just went super saiyan. The head crest/piece, eyes, and hand stumps flaring into life, making the Gloomdweller the Gloombringer. It literally looks like it wants to punch the shit out of you... And that's what it does, anime-style. It's Z-move is fucking awesome. The name is just so fitting: Soul Stealing Seven Star Strike! Breaking through everything, from the common Wingull to the legendaries themselves. I don't even know how to make it any better. This would easily be my favorite Pokemon, had it not been for my already favorite (which is Flygon and... Primarina! So while the debate in me for the best starter raged for sixth gen, the seas were calmed as the princess of the sea came through, healing the debate with her Sparkling Aria.... Or prince, since mine was a guy. Whatever. Primarina is easily the most controversial of the starters, partially because people are angry that Incineroar turned out worst (I'm not saying that... Common opinion :P, I think it looks pretty damn cool.) or the fact it's gender ratio is... Well, weird. I got over it anyways, since it's just so awesome. Majestic. Another one I can barely describe... And of course, there's sentimental value. With every starter I choose there's that, and you can feel as if there's the real love between you and your Pokemon when they pull through for you. Poppers the Primarina (get the shades) is the coolest out there. (Inb4 horrible team skull grunt impersonation) Musical talent here, yo! Nukin' Spirit Balls and jukin' tunes for all to hear. Chillin' burns with the Sparklin' Aria, and when on the stage he always is the... fuck I ran out of rhymes... I'm horrible at this XD Anyways, as a Popplio you could just see that incomplete look. It was derpy, in the cute way, but still derpy. You always got those sparks of happiness, like it always looked like it wanted to be the best, out of all. As it evolved, the talent evolved. Brionne is like those nervous people who don't know about their talent yet--should they go for it? Then Primarina comes, with the full potential here and fully bloomed. It's really funny how you can find a journey of life in a Pokemon... Really is. Shit, this is long. Goddammit, I probably wasted all your times. But for those who read this, then congrats to you lol

Personal Top 10: 10: Kommo-o. A DRAGON-FIGHTING type? Sign me right the fuck up. 9: Bewear. This thing is deceptively dangerous, and I love it to bits. 8: Buzzwole. Too swole to control, baby. 7: Necrozma. I seriously had no idea this thing existed until postgame. Looker was freaking out, so I decided to search around, and when I got to Ten Carat Hill, I was NOT disappointed. 6: Togedemaru: It's a Pikaclone done right. Plus, it's got a few tricks up its sleeve, like Poison Jab. Not even kidding. 5: Drampa. While Goomy and its evos are adorable, this is the true first adorable dragon. 4: Tapu Koko. Same reasons as you, but to a lesser degree. 3: Palossand. Holy hell, did this thing live up to, and surpass, my expectations set by Golurk. 2: Vikavolt. For once, a non-mythical or legendary Bug-type that utterly MELTS everything. Nuclear is right. 1: Incineroar. IT'S A FLAMING WRESTLER LION WITH A CHAMPIONSHIP BELT MADE OF FUCKING FIRE. THAT IS KICK-ASS.
Gen 7 is one of my favorite trio of starters where I love all three starters. Even if Primarina is my least favorite, she's close to Decidueye, who I really like. Primarina is such a beautiful Pokémon and Decidueye is both really cool and a cute dork. I really like Primarina overall and find it underrated. Gen 3 is the only other generation at the time of this video's release where all members are good and I like all of them. I will give Primarina this, she has my favorite design of the Alola starters. Primarinanhas such a lovely and gorgeous design. She's a selkie with a voice of a siren and mermaid. Man, I love her along with the rest of the starters in Alola.

Am I the only one who likes the idea of inanimate object-based mons to be almost cooler than those based off real critters? Just the idea of taking something ordinary(a Chandelier?) And successfully turning it into something very alive and intimidating and believable? So neat.
Oceanic operetta is so satisfying to use with my primarina. This gargantuan water bubble looming above the opponents head, they look at you begging for mercy. Then you raise your arms high having primarina sing the final note. Absolutely no mercy and I love it! C:

My team...Well, there's Ribombee, Primarina...And that's about it. I mean, sure, there are others, but none of them saw nearly as much use as those two did. Hell, with Ribombee's ridiculous base speed stat, you don't really need much else.
I had to wait until I finished Moon until I watched this, and it's AWESOME! Favourite new Pokemon are Celesteela and Xurketree, at least for legends/ beasts.

For Grass Types I always Chose Tsareena over Lurantis. When it comes to final evolutions, I find that some seem more complete than others. With Lurantis, first time I saw it I thought it might be a mid Stage evolution, I was Wrong. But when the trailer came round for Bounsweet's Evolutions. I saw it, Tsareena, One of the most complete evolution lines I've ever witnessed. Bounsweet Starts out as a simple grass type design, And I was thinking, yeah This is gonna be similar to Cherubi, probably gonna keep that fruit design all the way through. But I was surprisingly corrected. Bounsweet is a small pokemon and is always in danger of being eaten, for lack of a better term. But once It gains the strength it finally evolves into Steene, and can now frolic along without having to worry about any dangers. But It doesn't stop there! Once It' learns the move stomp, It becomes a Jungle Queen! Tsareena is by far one of the most amazing Grass types out there. It's Feminine charms are enough to Rival Lurantis, and before you play the whole Male Card again, NOPE, It's Entire Line is 100% Female, So if you're goin for a shiny, no worries on ending up with a Pokemon that can't evolve. In terms of Moves and Stats, It's got some room for improvement, But It's ability... WOW. Queenly Majesty is by far one of the most OP Abilities. (Oh! But it's just a Clone of Bruxish's Dazzling, It's the Same thing but with a different Name!) Well That doesn't make it any less awesome! Complete Immunity to Priority moves. that means ALL PRIORITY MOVES! First Impression with Goliosipod? Immune. Sucker Punch? Immune. Fake out?! Do you really need to ask.... the best part is, when you're up against a Prankster Pokemon, since it's offensive status moves are priority, she's immune to those as well! And the next best thing is her one signature move, Trop Kick. As in I'm Gonna Trop kick yo' ass into next month! It's only 75 base power, but it's secondary effect, Amazing. Dropping any target's attack 100% of the time, get afew of these off, even NVE ones and any physical sweeper is gonna have a hard time setting up. In doubles she also gets Teeter Dance to completely mix up the field, or Aromatherapy to give your team some sweet treatment, OR OR, Rapid spin to take care of incoming Hazzards. and one of her later level moves, High Jump Kick, Easily Takes out a lot of pokemon that resist Trop Kick. Alternatively there's also moves like Acrobatics and play rough, hits not as hard and not as many pokemon, but when the time comes It helps out in a pinch. And when mixed with a Life Orb, you'll be kicking grass in no time! One Pokemon To take care of the team!

My 1 complaint about Tapu Koko is that you face him right after finishing the pokemon league, BUT they don't give you a chance to save before facing it. So if you want to catch it, you need to pray to god that your 1st quick ball will work, or try your hardest to weaken it to a low enough point, but if you accidentally make it faint, then you gotta restart you final league battle, go through that ridiculously cutscene(that you can't skip), and try and catch it again. SERIOUSLY, why would the developers think not giving you the option to save, before facing a legendary pokemon you'll want to catch, would be a good idea? GOD it pisses me off.

4-- Toucannon This thing is the best. It's a fucking toucan, for one thing. And if you don't like toucans then there's something wrong with you -notrlyplzdontkillme-. They're colorful, funny to look at from a frontal view, and... Fire from their beaks? Never heard of that one. Toucannon is just so original-- especially how the beak represents a meter with how it fires, and well, just it in general. Though originally I didn't like how a woodpecker evolves into a toucan, I reminded myself--this is Pokemon, anything happens. It's also got something interesting in competitive. Before dismissing it as a much slower Staraptor, one must look at that signature move: Beak Blast. Another one that cripples physical attackers that people... Well, rarely use. Admittedly, it's pretty frail (could take 20 from that sp. atk and take it into HP tho) for a bulky Pokemon, but should you use roost and some other stally stuff, then you're in for a good time.
Plus, it's 120 attack. Off 100 BP move and Skill Link. That hurts (to everything but steels unfortunately)
3-- Lunala now it's the real meat and bones. I could go on and on about the next bunch, but I'm not gonna make this a video-in-text. Nebby was a fun thing in the game. Couldn't stay in the damn bag and was always a good laugh. But when I finally witnessed it for myself, it evolving into Lunala, I was awestruck. It's majestic as majestic can be. Representing the infinite night with its star-tipped corners, Lunala truly captures the night and moon. While solgaleo is cool and all... I chose Moon for a reason, and this thing was that reason. While other cover legends are amazing, none have touched me like Nebby. It was with you for the whole damn story! How could it not be personal? I don't usually name cover legends, because I want to preserve their serenity, awesomeness, power, majesty, mystical aura, etc. but Lunala was different. It was more like a friend than a great feared power. I thought how could I not name in Nebby (in respects to Lillie too!)? It was the best legendary I have ever caught (been playing since DPPt, and played some games before that recently), period. And obviously it's competitive viability has no need to have a mentioning--we all know how awesome it is.
2--Vikavolt This is the _good_ kind of clustered in a Pokemon. Unlike some... *koffkffgarchomp*
It's all blended in so perfectly. It's multiple Pokemon, all in one, yet sooooo much better. Pinsir, but cooler. Galvantula, but more menacing. And throw in a pinch of mega Rayquaza jaws and a robotic look, and presto! Vikavolt is here. It's awesomeness is indescribable. It's proabably easily my favorite bug type and my favorite electric. But then there are a stats, and people's responses to it. Please, stop whining, all the butt hurts, that Vikavolt isn't exactly fast as hell. People act as if it's the end of the world... But what's really bringing the end is that horricfic sp. Atk stat, the typing, and Leviate. Though the 77/90/75 defenses leave a bunch to be desired, the ability to switch in on the ground types it would have feared if only an electric type are gone. Sure, most grounds have Stone Edge/Rock Slide, but it can take one and fire back the power of the railgun. Its arsenal, while a bit limited, is all it needs to destroy. If the look didn't already tell you that, that is.

Marshadow and Primarina.
Marshadow is perfect. Literally perfect, even in competitive with the only unresisted type combo in Pokemon, allowing it to wreak any havoc it desires. It's havoc is also no joke, with that awesome 125 attack and speed, this thing, once it finally gets released, will be a monster. It's signature move, Spectral Thief could easily spell game over for sweepers if the Marshadow is either sash or if it's just faster. It not only takes the stat boosts, but also _strips_ them! You've given it the power by setting up, and now it's your downfall. Even design wise, it reminds me an awful lot of... Well, literally any fighting anime. At first it's humble, pretty cutesy and looks like you could pet it to oblivion. But when it's gets pissed it's like it just went super saiyan. The head crest/piece, eyes, and hand stumps flaring into life, making the Gloomdweller the Gloombringer. It literally looks like it wants to punch the shit out of you... And that's what it does, anime-style. It's Z-move is fucking awesome. The name is just so fitting: Soul Stealing Seven Star Strike! Breaking through everything, from the common Wingull to the legendaries themselves. I don't even know how to make it any better. This would easily be my favorite Pokemon, had it not been for my already favorite (which is Flygon and...
Primarina! So while the debate in me for the best starter raged for sixth gen, the seas were calmed as the princess of the sea came through, healing the debate with her Sparkling Aria.... Or prince, since mine was a guy. Whatever. Primarina is easily the most controversial of the starters, partially because people are angry that Incineroar turned out worst (I'm not saying that... Common opinion :P, I think it looks pretty damn cool.) or the fact it's gender ratio is... Well, weird. I got over it anyways, since it's just so awesome. Majestic. Another one I can barely describe...
And of course, there's sentimental value. With every starter I choose there's that, and you can feel as if there's the real love between you and your Pokemon when they pull through for you. Anyways, as a Popplio you could just see that incomplete look. It was derpy, in the cute way, but still derpy. You always got those sparks of happiness, like it always looked like it wanted to be the best, out of all. As it evolved, the talent evolved. Brionne is like those nervous people who don't know about their talent yet--should they go for it? Then Primarina comes, with the full potential here and fully bloomed. It's really funny how you can find a journey of life in a Pokemon... Really is.

Not sure if anyone would see this but I also really love Primarina! It's my favorite pokemon of all time.
Gen 7 is one of my favorite trio of starters where I love all three starters. Even if Primarina is my least favorite, she's close to Decidueye, who I really like. Primarina is such a beautiful Pokémon and Decidueye is both really cool and a cute dork. I really like Primarina overall and find it underrated. Gen 3 is the only other generation at the time of this video's release where all members are good and I like all of them. I will give Primarina this, she has my favorite design of the Alola starters. Primarinanhas such a lovely and gorgeous design. She's a selkie with a voice of a siren and mermaid. Man, I love her along with the rest of the starters in Alola.

What makes Xurkitree even weirder is that it's Ultra Space's answer to trees, not as in tree Pokemon, but as in just plain old trees.
For Grass Types I always Chose Tsareena over Lurantis. When it comes to final evolutions, I find that some seem more complete than others. With Lurantis, first time I saw it I thought it might be a mid Stage evolution, I was Wrong.
But when the trailer came round for Bounsweet's Evolutions. I saw it, Tsareena, One of the most complete evolution lines I've ever witnessed.
Bounsweet Starts out as a simple grass type design, And I was thinking, yeah This is gonna be similar to Cherubi, probably gonna keep that fruit design all the way through. But I was surprisingly corrected. Bounsweet is a small pokemon and is always in danger of being eaten, for lack of a better term. But once It gains the strength it finally evolves into Steene, and can now frolic along without having to worry about any dangers. But It doesn't stop there! Once It' learns the move stomp, It becomes a Jungle Queen! Tsareena is by far one of the most amazing Grass types out there. It's Feminine charms are enough to Rival Lurantis, and before you play the whole Male Card again, NOPE, It's Entire Line is 100% Female, So if you're goin for a shiny, no worries on ending up with a Pokemon that can't evolve.
In terms of Moves and Stats, It's got some room for improvement, But It's ability... WOW.
Queenly Majesty is by far one of the most OP Abilities. (Oh! But it's just a Clone of Bruxish's Dazzling, It's the Same thing but with a different Name!) Well That doesn't make it any less awesome! Complete Immunity to Priority moves. that means ALL PRIORITY MOVES! First Impression with Goliosipod? Immune. Sucker Punch? Immune. Fake out?! Do you really need to ask.... the best part is, when you're up against a Prankster Pokemon, since it's offensive status moves are priority, she's immune to those as well!
And the next best thing is her one signature move, Trop Kick. As in I'm Gonna Trop kick yo' ass into next month! It's only 75 base power, but it's secondary effect, Amazing. Dropping any target's attack 100% of the time, get afew of these off, even NVE ones and any physical sweeper is gonna have a hard time setting up.
In doubles she also gets Teeter Dance to completely mix up the field, or Aromatherapy to give your team some sweet treatment, OR OR, Rapid spin to take care of incoming Hazzards. and one of her later level moves, High Jump Kick, Easily Takes out a lot of pokemon that resist Trop Kick. Alternatively there's also moves like Acrobatics and play rough, hits not as hard and not as many pokemon, but when the time comes It helps out in a pinch. And when mixed with a Life Orb, you'll be kicking grass in no time! One Pokemon To take care of the team!

My 1 complaint about Tapu Koko is that you face him right after finishing the pokemon league, BUT they don't give you a chance to save before facing it. So if you want to catch it, you need to pray to god that your 1st quick ball will work, or try your hardest to weaken it to a low enough point, but if you accidentally make it faint, then you gotta restart you final league battle, go through that ridiculously cutscene(that you can't skip), and try and catch it again. SERIOUSLY, why would the developers think not giving you the option to save, before facing a legendary pokemon you'll want to catch, would be a good idea? GOD it pisses me off.
Helpful hint: If you choose to ko it after the champion battle, you can go fight it again whenever you want.
