Good stuff! I'm getting caught up on some of your videos. I wish this series was in a playlist, but I will sort it out. Thanks for sharing your adventures!
Hey thanks bro! Started a bit late but I made 3 catches so far, that video is almost finished I hope I can get it up tonight. How are you and your family doing?

I guess the loop depends on the size of the opening of the choke point where I set snares. But 20-24” loop if in the open. 15-16 in off the ground, to the bottom of the loop. I used to set higher but I had a few wolves slip under the snare. Seems they walk with theirs heads fairly low. Thanks for watching!
I think I’ve only had to file and adjust a couple of my 330s most of them fire fairly lightly. But I don’t want them to be to light of a trigger, I did that once and I actually caught a gray jay, I also have owls that go into my cubbies and if the 330 has a hair trigger they can get caught as well. Hi! When you say stopping others from traveling your trap line do you own the land? Or does a registered trap line give you the only authority to be on it during trapping season? Just came across your videos and subscribed. I'm number 400 subscriber 😆
Hello. here all of our tribal members own the land together. The lower the traffic on that part of the Trapline the better catch numbers I put up. If somebody is hunting they can move my snare and I don’t mind, having it there also reminds people that there are more traps ahead and to be careful. A 140 lbs wolf in a trap is quite dangerous especially if a trail rider does not know there are traps down that trail. So cool thanks for the sub!
