Kazuya's laugh is so wicked, he's one of the most badass characters to ever play in Tekken since my childhood and I still have all the Tekken games since my childhood when I was 7 years old.
It's actually one of the best, it leaves it open for other people outside of jin to have issue with Kazuya and Kazuyas to keep coming back if the rest of the mishimas are cut as just a poster man Anti Hero protag antag all rounder, considering he's the first main character in Tekken I believe. Imo, Tekken 5 is non canon and simply a Tekken Trilogy Remake after Tag.
@@elitedeadlockedhd2007 imo, technically yes, for 6 at least, 6 was good but to me felt like filler and fan service. 7 felt like a legitimate continuation after 4, so in personal opinion, a huge gap of time just makes sense.
I agree with you this is what the newer Tekkens after 5 was missing the dark, serious, and creepy theme for my opinion, and the evil laughing is much creepier and menacing than 6 and 7.
So through this ending, we figure out that Kazuya screwed Devil and took ahold of it. Unifying Devil's power with his, he gained new strength and taunted Jin to fight him. However, thats how far this canon ending goes as he is soon bested by Jin.

Even if he can be killed, surely is not in such faction. Kazuya simply learned how to control the conscious being "Devil", which is what the experiments done with G Corporation were about. He spent 20 years in a tube to learn how to fully master the Devil power. Currently, Kazuya and Devil are simply merged. That's why Kazuya is so evil now.
Gooby heihachi didn't get the mishima zaibatsu because of Jinpachi, after he came back to life he gained command of the mishima zaibatsu again and he announced the 5th tournament.

I had only played the Tekken 2 Demo and Tekken 1. So i wasnt familiar with the story other than Kazuya throwing his dad off a cliff. But i figured he was so evil it was justified. So when i beat Tekken 4 with Kazuya, i was expecting another similar scenario, and a semi warm introduction to Jin, who i knew was related to him, but not how. Then i saw this ending. And it shook the absolute hell out of 9 year old me. Great times.
Note: You can assume jins devil form os absorbed thereby curing him in this ending which is why i like it, you can say ots possibly not his soul absorbed though kazuya does act as a mix of Jin and Kazuya at the end. But considering that a second presence is in him, even if he took a "soul" which one? I still think this is a valid and canon end, and would make sense for jin to recover and go into hiding out of shock. Meaning he would be ommitted from 5 onwards. And would be in search of getting that power back that wasn't natural?

Imo, I would prefer this be the canon ending, for a few reasons. Second best would be Jins ending for an open to interpretation ending. I don't gotta waste time making videos for short opinions.
He's cheating godhood by taking all power for himself and uses merciless fear and pain to get it. He plays god and acts like god taking pride in what he does for his crimes as Devil. I am happy that this ending is non-cannon. He'll never take Jin's power because he has a good heart whereas Kazuya is Satan incarnate.

The older Devil design looks somewhat more cartoony but I'll admit this is one of, if not, the darkest scene Kazuya has been in
