@@DEUCE2CON Heihachi brings Kazuya to Hon-Maru to see Jin, Kazuya gets possessed by Devil for a moment, Jin defeats Kazuya and Heihachi, sprouts his Devil wings and flies away. Ba-da-boom! Tekken 5!
Tcb bct harada made everyone just one dimensional as fuck. At this point throw the story out the window, dont have any endings for any characters, make tekken a smash bros-like game and just make half the roster pay to win dlc’s. And of course combos that take half a minute, juggles you across the map and then kills you.
Tcb bct It’s unfortunate, but I completely agree with you. Characters are slowly losing their identity. And of course every season has to include a new character that, for some reason, has to be retardedly overpowered so much so that it breaks the game. About story, Kazumi and her having the Devil gene was a whole mistake in my opinion. I mean I could go on for days but honestly you nailed it. It’s pretty much becoming a FIFA-like cashgrab. For me, Tekken 5 had the best gameplay, and for story, music and stages both Tekken 4 and 5. At this point I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Tekken 8 will actually be like my previous post.
Just in case anyone is wondering, this is how Tekken 4 is canonically supposed to end. (Kazuya's Ending) First, Kazuya and Heihachi arrive in Hon-Maru and see Jin. Then, Kazuya, under the influence of Devil, knocks out Heihachi and tries to take the Devil Gene from Jin. (Jin's Ending) This causes him to have a nightmare about Kazuya taunting him. After Kazuya awakens him, Jin attacks and defeats him. Then, Heihachi recovers and tries to defeat Jin himself. Of course, Jin is able to defeat him as well. As he transforms into Devil Jin, he gets ready to finish Heihachi, but the spirit of his mother, Jun, snaps him out of his rage, and he decides to spare Heihachi and depart, leaving him and Kazuya alone in Hon-Maru. The End.
Tekken 4 was one of the best games and endings ever, I still have this on PS2 since I was 11 years old. This was how Tekken 5 started after Jin Kazama defeated Heihachi Mishma and Kazuya Mishima.
Jin stumbled through the abyss, nothing but darkness as far as he could see. He didn't know what to think or feel. "Give into your anger." A quiet voice echoed. He had never heard this voice before, but it sounded so familiar. Instantly, a red hot flame burned inside him. "Hate me." It continued, a creepy face materializing above him. "Curse me. Scorn me." Jin's body burned with fury as he looked up to see the glowing figure shine through the black void, feeling a rage filled stupor rush over him. "Hate me. Curse me. Scorn me." The voice rang out again, this time accompanied by a wicked and haunting laughter. Holding his head as a numbing sensation shot through his body, Jin sank to his knees, the laughter growing louder and hurting his ears. "Please stop. " Jin wheezed as his body began to melt away, his tight muscles receeding and his tall stature fading into that of a small child. "Hate me." Jin held his ears as a sea of blood began to bubble around him, forming into an army of tiny scarred men. "Curse me." Jin quivered as the mass of tiny figures climbed onto his body and bit into his flesh with their sharp teeth, sobbing quietly. "Scorn me." Jin's heart raced as two of the tiny men pulled his left eye open and he saw an army of men he knew to be his father. There was no mistaking the face he had seen in photographs and recordings. While the two red figurines snickered wickedly as they held the child's stinging eye open, another shimmering blood man climbed to the side of his face and changed into the figure of his grandfather, Heihachi Mishima. His heart racing with fear, the tiny grandmaster plunged his sharp fist into Jin's open eye. "Rise, Jin Kazama!"
it's truly had if Jin stills be considered a "hero" in entire game, bcause not his virtueism but what makes tekken story progressed with his journey...
So much agree with you, after Tekken 4, Tekken has become a joke for me, Here's why: 1.I don't like the new look of devil jin and devil kazuya because it was very good looking at tekken 2 to 4. 2.music doesn't seem to much epic for me, much are. but not like in Tekken 1 to 4. 3. Devil Kazuya in Tekken 7 should be like in Tekken 2, but no. there's a new one now...Do not know why. done! thats why I like Tekken 1 to 4, but you know, just my opinion. Do you guys agree with me?
That's a hyperbole. I also admit that hating on the aesthetics over the actual gameplay is very petty, since that's the only aspect that Namco seems to be consistent on. So, mind explaining yourself a bit more, since most of your arguments seem to be based on personal preference...?
it's not just Tekken but a lot of other series have suffered this system that messed up the plot lore for the sake of series continuation and money making through a series' reputation. Mortal Kombat is the recent victim of this bringing in time travel and screwing up everything the original plot had and adding even more plot holes than there should be.
I think he didn't kill heihachi because he still saw him as his grandfather. He even wanted to kill Kazuya first and then commit suicide to vanish the devil Gene. But his point of view somehow changed in Tekken 5.
We will never forget Tekken 3 Jin,wish Jin had mix kazama and karate movelist. Jin was a downgrade in Tekken 4 very sad. especially when you have to fight the Tekken force with less moves.
Kazuya's devil influence was taken over him then Kazuya fought back to his senses and wants more power. Jin believes the reason why he have the devil gene was bc of Kazuya and hates him for that. I have no idea what makes Kazuya hates Jin tbh. Maybe due to the fact he an asshole just like his father Heihachi.
@@theobshow1297 Actually, it's to recover his half. Devil said to Heihachi that he lost his half when he almost died (Tekken 2). That half is inside Jin Kazama. The Best ending of all Tekken...
This is how Tekken 5 started.
Yep, but the canon ending is Heihachi's ending, then Kazuya's, then Jin's, all of them is one big canon ending

If Jin didn't see Jun Kazama's spirit he would've murdered Heihachi immediately.

Jin was never evil. He is more of a anti hero. Kazuya is who is evil.

Doing this to his own son and Jin doing this to his own father
