Appreciate your content and bought a tangium wallet for cold storage of my crypto based on your recommendation. I set up my tangent wallet with seed phrase and registered all 3 cards. In the app settings I enabled Keep wallet in the app, and save access code requiring biometric Verification. I have since transferred a significant amount of cryptos successfully to the wallet which is located in my app. Now I am wondering if my crypto information ever got to the actual cards because I did not have to scan the card when I transferred the crypto. How do I know if my crypto information ever got onto the card?
That’s not how wallets work. It’s like sending an email. As long as you have the address of the receiving wallet, you can send crypto to that address without ever accessing the wallet. This is all done on the blockchain. Just like emails are all done on the internet. It’s important to understand wallets do not hold any crypto, all crypto exist on the Blockchain. Wallets and exchanges for example hold the keys used to access in manager crypto, that’s it.

@@a.j.manville7042 If you initiate a transfer from Tangem, you have to use a card. This is how you know. You can’t transact using your Tangem wallet without scanning the card. Again, you send crypto TO it without using the card, but you have to approve transactions FROM Tangem using the card. The keep wallet in app features means you don’t have to scan the card every-time to view your portfolio. The app doesn’t hold any keys.
The prototype ring has an appearance similar to hematite and since I've worn hematite rings in the past, this would be something I'd be interested in. Not sure I need a new wallet yet though. Can't wait for the staking update, and it will be interesting to see what APYs are offered.

meh, never mind after I submitted I found the answer is no...the set uses 1 seed phrase being a backup to one another, would need to buy more sets to have different wallets

Yes, all the cards support 12 or 24 word seed phrases. And yes, currently you can stake a few different coins including Solana. Tangem supports stables as well
No. The app will always be available on GitHub. That said, if you setup the wallet using a seed phrase you can access your wallet using practically any brand wallet, not just Tangem

Yes you can have multiple wallets on the same app. Tap the three dots in the upper right hand corner, then tap “Add New Wallet”. The send process is the same as sending to a different crypto wallet-because that’s what you’re doing. If you're going to ditch your 12 word seed phrase you might as well recover it on a hot wallet and then transfer from there to your new 24 word seed phrase

I discussed this in the video. Where I’m from, wearing a casual ring is not an indicator that you have money. Now if you go around telling everyone your ring is actually a crypto wallet, that’s your problem lol. I provided the full list of coins that can be staked at first-in this video. That’s all anyone knows for now. - Alex
Like Tangem very much, but the ring may not necessary for me, as it's on your hand, make it earier to be broken / lost in daliy life than a card in wallet :)
If you're ok with basically no customer service, then maybe it's ok to buy tangem wallets. I emailed tangem customer service and their turn around time is 3 days, minimum.. i don't belive that's efficient customer care

Not at all. Otherwise every time you hold your phone in your hand it’d scan the ring and prompt you to open the app. It would be an epic fail if it scanned with the ring on your finger.
@@cyberscrilla I love your videos and content but please allow me to disagree here. Doesn't the Tangem app only scan cards or rings when you are approving a transaction/transfer? Having to take off a ring every time to make transfers/transactions is an absolute pain.
@@Whaever_1981 -- his other video on the ring shows him scanning with the ring on his finger, so apparently possible with some devices/setups.... imagine the phone case is a significant factor as well...
stop making the already complicated crypto wallet with too many security passphrase.. If you only have 1 crypto that's fine but if you own various crypto, the risk of losing your funds in losing and forgetting your complicated security measures is greater than a very simple setup.
That’s your opinion. Not everyone feels that way. That’s why it’s optional. Also why I like Tangem so much. They let the user decide how they use their wallet.

I didn't see anywhere in the setup to add a seed phrase on the Tandem two. I was looking for it.
It’s the first step after scamming the card. Select other options (not create wallet) then choose the seed phrase option

If you think about it the Tangem ring is a stealth ring. Perhaps obviating the need for a stealth card?

You don’t need an address tag when sending to a cold wallet. If it makes you enter one, just put 000000

Yes, everything will remain. An app update can’t update the blockchain or change the contents of your wallet.

You update the Tangem app. Search for it in your phones App Store, then tap update.

It's a great wallet for small amounts. The problem is you cannot organise UTXOs.
