In this video, we visited the largest traditional market in Bali, Indonesia and tried a ton of different fruits. Many of these fruits don't exist on our side of the world, so we had a great time exploring the market and experimenting with some new flavors!

i'm amazed by how you decide a name for youtube channel. the lost boys roughly translated to "bocah ilang" in indonesian language. "bolang" in short. this a pun from "bocah petualang" which translated to boys who enjoyed adventure. literally thats what you do.

Maybe if you planning to go explore all province in Indonesia, you guys have to try their local fruit. Not just local as nation degree of local, but desa or kampung degree of local. The deeper you go, the weirder their fruits.

if you eats salak you have to remove the second skin under the snake skin like epithel of paper you have to remove it before you eat

That was a small snake fruit. You have to go to Pronojiwo Lumajang. That area has the biggest size of snake fruit ever, but too bad that place was hit by Semeru eruption lately

Yeah there's a few different varieties but they have the same flavor on the really good tart ones. That markisa was definitely a passion fruit! 😁
Bangkuang is actually a root so technically a veggy, central and south american have them also in their cuisine. Atemoya (srikaya) also grow in central and south america. Once in South florida I found atemoya in road fruit stall.

If you guys visit Jogjakarta, you guys must try "Salak Pondoh" its way better than other salak you ever taste 😁
You can count the exact inside of the manggis or mangosteen, just check the bottom part, take a look star kinda shape. And count it, open the fruit and that exact the same amount

Yellow passionfruit are.from.asian mountains. Purple paasionfruit is from Aussie. Bit sweet n sour but way tastier than the mountain variety

Terkadang buah-buahan di indonesia ada yang memang sudah enak secara natural dan ada juga yang harus di campur dengan bahan tambahan. Contohnya manisan salak, jus alpukat coklat dll.
