- Here in this video you will see a few problems and tips during my install of the SPC rear adjustable camber bushings needed after installing the eibach Pro Line lowering springs.
Recently, watching some of your videos.
Excellent, that you are showing all of your issues....welcome to my world :-)
Have some of the very same toolings, like the press, the jack..........
I actually took the jack apart and put the sides of the metal off the jack in a vice and fixed it lol. Seems to be working good as new
appreciate your video it was great
Ty sorry I talked so much just trying to show the process of my experience removing the bushings
Wire wheel works great to remove the rust . The press is made by spc also. It is literally made to remove these bushings . You can also get a press that is " for 4x4 dodge vehicles. It also has the specific cups needed .
Ya where I live none of the parts stores had a special press so I just used a 40 dollar kit from harbor freight for balljoints it works but took longer cause the race was frozen in the control arms.
@@tobroke2007 i had to order it through orilys. Took a day to come in . The 50$ dodge press kit has the proper cups also but its uses a few more peaces.
@@ALEX-xd7ko hmm I'll have to look into but if you watched my recent short teaser video you will see I want need any specials tools now.
@@tobroke2007 just went and looked lol. Hey fyi the cradle does not have to come down. The bolts will come out past the coils
@@ALEX-xd7ko man I hope so it's either a cradle drop or Sawzall time or ...
Most of the control arms cannot be removed unless you drop the rear cradle. Another option is to install adjustable camber arms. Check out bmr suspension, godspeed, just to name a couple...
Also they make a special press for these. I used it last week . Takes about 5 mins .
Hello, can you please tell me where you bought the bushing removal kit.
Harbor freight
My dude . I know its been a year . But jacking the car up under that control arm until the weight of the car is on the jack is loading the bushing .
Don't think I'll be getting those springs seems to aggressive
