I snatched my mother's glass cutter from her stained glass set which was always in the kitchen junk drawer. In 10 minutes he cut me little cubes and we glued them on their I still have it and it works great🎉
Wow, great price on the Chalet piece. Aren't they just marvelous! I snagged a really rare vase for $10 Canadian because no one at that auction knew what it was. I was able to have a Chalet expert speak with the maestro that made it to confirm it was really Chalet. I hope to own a few more pieces someday. ☺

BC Ferries! I missed that. I did see some Sherman, I've only owned one piece because the Canadians know what it is and love it so we don't get much south of the border anymore...the last piece I had sold for $200!

I would give anything to still have my concert ticket stubs and menu from Alice’s Restaurant in Westwood. When I didn’t return to California after what supposed to be a short trip back to Texas, my mom threw all that kind of stuff away. Who knew they would be worth something 50 years later!
@@TheAntiqueNomad my mom had rheumatoid arthritis and was an experimental patient at UCLA. Once a month I went with her for appointments. While she was there I would go into Westwood to shop. Her appointments were for several hours so I had plenty of time to look around. I would eat and hangout at Alice’s Restaurant. It was popular and I got acquainted with the owner of the restaurant and all the waitresses. I walked in one day and they told me I missed getting to meet Steve McQueen by 10 minutes! I couldn’t believe it. When my mom passed away by her request her body was donated for research. I have rheumatoid arthritis now and I see a rheumatologist regularly. I am doing well and I would like to think that the progress they have had in this area was at least partially due to the research they did with my mother all those years ago when she went to UC LA. This was set up through the Arthritis Foundation. She was a patient there from 1970 until she passed away in 1987. She passed away in the hospital so they took her body right away from the hospital.

Hi George, another great and informative video. Many thanks. Do you have any control over the ad interruptions? They are becoming more frequent unfortunately. I am not a fan.
Good evening, George. Was that currency with Bruce Lee on it? That was interesting. Those Northwest tribes cedar boxes were something I'd be interested in having. There looked like a bronze kneeling figure, behind the Fenton shoes, that got my interest. I'd like to have seen that one. I would've bought the child's size cheese keeper, in the chintz. I appreciate your support! I believe faith is very important, at least in my life… but people of all faiths could argue that definition applies to them, so I don’t really get the distinction.
It could, I'm seeing them appearing and just got one myself. It really depends on what's in them, the mainsprings in particular seem to be going high now. I think they wanted $500 and theirs were mainly crystals

The Governor General has been appointed solely by the Canadian Prime Minister since 1935. The sovereign merely confirms the PM's choice.
That's right, I read that somewhere. George V made that change.
@@TheAntiqueNomad Yet, the first Canadian born GG wasn't appointed until 1952 (Vincent Massey for whom the tunnel connecting Delta and Richmond is named).

"Itemes"--er, not official Canadian spelling 🤣
Yes need to fix that lol
Consider using the phrase “a person of faith” rather than “religious”. The word “religious” can also refer to many different beliefs not associated with Christianity. Thank you. Love your videos.
I appreciate your support! I believe faith is very important, at least in my life… but people of all faiths could argue that definition applies to them, so I don’t really get the distinction.
@ the word religion doesn’t always equate to Christianity. If your a satanist you are practicing a religion. There are humanist who have churches.
Great video
How much was the watch maker kit ? You didn't say and didn't offer to get . ? That could be thousands of dollars. To a collector.
It could, I'm seeing them appearing and just got one myself. It really depends on what's in them, the mainsprings in particular seem to be going high now. I think they wanted $500 and theirs were mainly crystals
