Yes these redcat 550 motors run great you seen how fast it got on the GPS. They have lots of power and are 17 turns and run cool. They are great cheap upgrade motors. thanks for looking.
Oh no, you got her all dirty, Steve!!!! 😜😜 But hey, that's a great motor upgrade, much better top speed and torque for off-road, too! My stock TS did about 17mph so yours is a great improvement! Take care, buddy! 😎😎👍👍
These run great I also put one in my kyosho 2014 beetle it runs pretty fast and ice cold! Try one out search for redcat 17T 550 crawler motor, they use them in the gen 8 and 9 crawlers. Thanks for watching.
Nice performance gains from the new motor. Man you have some serious cleaning to do now!!! That thing was caked with dirt! It looked good ripping though!
That's perfect, the torque will be good off road. But these were never meant to be speed runners. That crud nothing to what I did to the Slash last week, took 5 hour to get it clean.
Not only the car me two I floored it and it spit it all on my legs! LOL!!! this motor is great for the tamiya cars that make normal motors run hot this runs cool and fast... stinks cleaning them up when they get super dirty! Thanks
@@ShenRC You are lucky only sand, mine was damp tar shale. It was glued into the Slash 4x4 chassis everywhere and I must have remove hundred of stones. Some I had to use a pick to get them out and I do not think I got all.
Hi there Steve, that 550 size 17T motor seems to have plenty of punch and good top speed for the amazing Terra Scorcher 😊😊😊nice running. Best wishes to you and the family 😊
That looks a hell of a lot faster than it should be with a Tamiya motor. Well it's a 18 or 17 turn 550 size torque monster from did you say a crawler truck? Looks like it rips great work Steve you got a new sub here too👍👌
Thanks, It awesome in the tamiya cars that are limited with only 2 pinon gear options because the smaller 540 motors run super hot and with this 550 it has so much more power it can turn the larger pinion gear and still run cool! It's a redcat gen 7,8,9 crawler motor 18T.
what a mess! These motors work great in the cars.. I put one in my kyosho beetle.. you should try one it runs super cool and makes it very fun to drive. Thanks Bud..
Great test, I'll keep that in mind. If I'm not wrong 550s are much cheaper than the 540 racing versions.
They are great hop up motors because the 550 size they run much cooler than the 540 ones because they have much more power. Thank you.
another great speed run :D
Glad you enjoyed!
You're doing speed runs with a crawling motor?

Yes it was! the 550 motor runs fast and so cool a great upgrade. Thanks for watching.
Nice run. the 550 does not seem too bad. It is cool that it can take more than just a 540 size. Cheers
