Done right there would be no pits in the metal or necessitate that much aluminum lol, but having a solid ball of aluminum would be extremely satisfying to make
you can also do this using a microwave, put the original foil ball in and leave it in for 10 minutes, it'll melt the surface of it to smooth it out and make it more solid if you leave it for longer it melts the inside too which makes it a solid aluminum ball
