- What Really Happened to Viper - After Titanfall 2 Explained
After defeating Viper in Titanfall 2, Respawn Entertainment changed the story and created a new narrative. In this new story, Viper's Titan crashes on a planet, and Viper is found dead inside by his daughter, Valkyrie. She takes him back to their home planet and cremates his body. Valkyrie's mother throws Viper's ashes in the air, leaving some at the barn and some at their new home so that he could be with his family. Valkyrie then sets off to search for Cuban Bliss while living on the outlets of planet Geae.

The fight happened but the part were Viper body falls of the North Star got Retcon to him falling from the ship with his titan.

As I understand it, the Titanfall 2 universe and the Apex Legends universe are seperate (Voidwalker is from the Apex universe and Wraith is from the Titanfall universe). So it could also be that in the Apex universe, Viper’s body didn’t fall out like it did in the Titanfall universe. I may be wrong on that

Nah several people on the writer team have directly debunked this, Apex universe is the Titanfall universe, not another timeline. Voidwalker cinematic ended with bald wraith entering the Titanfall/Apex timeline

The titan was probaly destroyed and also there probaly was a couple of legal issues aswell as in the apex Games it's because people like blisk wouldn't want a titan
@@user-ob1nm7lt2w the titan was probably still in functioning condition as viper was in it and it was intact. There was also the fact that she took a jetpack that functioned enough for her to use from it. And I think blisk would find it funny if someone called in a titan during the game.

They were gonna make a third game, but they cancelled it. It wasnt going to follow Jack Cooper's story anyway though. They were gonna have Blisk rebuild BT and be the pilot for it, and have all the apex legends show up in it and everything.
They also dont refer to it as the Titanfall universe anymore. They call it the Apex Legends universe.

For examples:
Lifeline hates her mother’s blood money so she joins apex game to earn money for the militia, but still call supports from her mother company.
Gibraltar can call for an air strike despite being a rescue team.
Bangalore can call missiles barrage while she’s no longer belong to the military.
Revenant’s ult is just pure black magic.
Some legends brink equipment into games which doesn’t seem to be regulated at all. One boy bringing a drug and trampoline, one girl brink a sniper and a bat while one mad scientist brink a warcrime gas and one aunt brink a f*ucking blackhole generator. Wraith technically didn’t brink any thing in since the ability is generically modified into her.

@@beartheconfused6798 the thing is I can see the chassis surviving a fall from the sky like how it did in the valk trailer (btw I love that part of the trailer) but no way would it survive ship fall and the planet exploding, bare in mind the crash site was only a couple of miles away from the fold weapon exploded and yep that makes no sense.
The worst part is that the trailer was technically cannon and lined up with the events of titanfall 2 perfectly, it’s only since some random guy on the writing team went on Twitter and explained some of her lore in a tweet that this is even an issue.
Basically just ignore it because some random devs tweet shouldn’t be considered cannon.
I think, when the viper death and fall with the titans, northstar can still fly, titan can still work without the pilot, so northstar chose bring the body back and fly to space, maybe planet explosion or it titan damaged to much so the titan stop working in the space, Vakyrie can get the jetpack from the titan prove the northstar can still fly at that moment ( sr for my bad English)

All media aside from the skin description shows and describes him being found outside his titan. The skin description is not a retcon, it is flavor text. It was only written to be dramatic and does not change any of the events of Titanfall 2.

@@OfficalBird_manunfortunately the Titan was damaged beyond repair due to the hatch being ripped off and possibly heavily damaged more from typhon’s explosion Rampart looked over it and found that north star’s flight core was remarkably intact that being said they took the core and salvaged as much as they can from her fathers Titan to make said jetpack it makes perfect sense for Valkyrie yeah she can’t have the full experience of it but she has a piece of her father everywhere she goes strapped to her back and on her head

Titans, at the time of the Apex storyline, were extremely rare. They are very cost-heavy to field and maintain, run on rare stuff, and required too much training. They were already beginning to run out of resources to field Titans in Titanfall 2.
Viper's Northstar was in even worse condition, given how we obliterated it on the Malta. Even if anybody in the universe could restore it, it wouldn't be Valkyrie, it would need the resources and budget of a large corporation. The best way for Viper's Northstar to live on would be for parts of it to be used in something else such as its core to be modified for personal human flight, not sitting in a scrap yard.
Apex's story is a downgrade(but surprisingly good given that it's a battle royale with no singleplayer) but Valkyrie's story is a worthy continuation of Viper's fate.
Northstar: "Noooo I don't wanna be a Backpack!"

The biggest problem that i have with valkyrie is that Well Viper in titanfall seemed like a military veteran freak i seriously Just doubt him being a good dad she would have hated him instead of loving him
she probably did for a long time. she’s in her 30s now and seems to have an overbearing amount of love for him which means she probably only recently started to realize how much she took him for granted.

The skin description is not a retcon and the video is stupid. Viper's canon death was outside of his titan, and his body was found outside but nearby. The skin description is 100% flavor text added by someone who has nothing to do with the story of the game, and it was only worded that way to be dramatic. The description of one skin in a different game does not change the events that happened in Titanfall 2 or in the SFTO trailer, which may I remind you was created AFTER the skin.

-His titan shut down, as the pilot died while it was still being manually operated.
-Typhon's explosion somehow launched him into space without damaging the body or titan. This is the same universe where people hop dimensions just to board a dropship, so we can assume some spacetime fuckery was at play.
-Valk recovers the body and titan, body frozen in the vacuum of space and titan rendered inoperable, scrapping what she can to make her jetpack.
-She purchases a similar model of pilot helmet to Viper's, paints it to match her outfit, and starts wearing it. She probably keeps the original helmet somewhere to remember her father.
I now feel bad for killing viper.
God I hate Apex for ruining Titanfall.

Is it me or was tying titanfall to the apex universe a horrible idea. The story is just so muddy and the current characters,guns and setting dont match titanfall at all except a few minor things. Shoulve been a seperate thing and titanfall 3 should have been made, wouldve been better than a game with horrible servers and reskins pumped out in the item shop every update
