Great video! We're planning a NB hike in a few weeks. Any chance you remember where the camp site is that you're at around 10:30 into the video? Looks like it's between East Creek Cabin and Devil's Pass Cabin. Also, maybe more importantly, the campsite at 16:49? That one doesn't look like it's one of the official sites on the FWS maps but might be a great stopping point for us on day 2.
The 10:30 campsite was an official site at mile 4.06 if I recall. There were several spots to choose with one shared bear box. The second one you mention was not official spot and we didn't stay there. It was right next to the trail so not very private but on hot days nice and cool. Just S of the Devils Pass cabin. In fact you could see the cabin from here. You will love the hike! Enjoy and thanks for watching!
@@CampfireKodiak ahh, yeah I thought that 10:30 one may not work for us. My concern was the lack of "official" sites between Swan Lake and East Creek cabins. I was hoping there would be something a little North of Devil's Pass to break up those days a bit.
@@woody350ep1I can't remember anything but it's all alpine so it's easy enough to just put up a tent. I was attracted to Devil's Pass lake. Very scenic and good fishing for Dollies but it's not really North like you want.
@@CampfireKodiak I ended up lucking out and got cabins for all 3 nights of our trip. We're doing Bean Creek to Swan Lake Cabin day 1, then day 2 to East Creek Cabin and then day 3 to Caribou Creek Cabin and the last day is finishing.
I really liked this video. Amazing 👏
Beautiful video great place to escape to no doubt
Nice!! I wanted to do this when I was in Alaska last year

You should do it! Just don't do it before July 1 or you might encounter snow or flooding on the trail from recently melted snow.
@@CampfireKodiak ya that can be brutal
