Hariom Guruji Thank for your a power packed session today. Today's points # 1/ Ishtan means willful desires which are centred. It also means being centered ( neither suppressed nor licenousness, neither tight not loose ) 2. Bhogah'an ...means experiences. Our life is chain of experiences (अनुभव धारा ) . 3. Way to complete experiences of life # Choose the experiences you want to go through in life -> do them in इष्ट'n way -> Remove any blocks though daily saadhna -> Complete your experiences-> You will move from lower goals to higher goals -> With Guru shakti will acheive the highest eventually. 4. Above steps are deep sadhna to experiences life 5. Grace is an aspect of divine and blessing is manifestation of that divine aspect. As we grow we see all life experiences as blessing of divine and start showing gratitude. Thanks you sir Ashish
Hari om Guruji, Pranaams 🙏 Thanks for the powerful session today Guruji with the energy blast and healing.. Being in the the center is the key for our spiritual growth and completing all our material experiences. We should neither get into indulgence not into suppression as both of these will not allow us to complete our experience spirituality is not against Bhogaan or enjoyment and only it states that we should not get lost in it and forget our ultimate purpose to be one with infinite and rise above the finite. Lord has used the word kaamaan in the previous verse and Bhogaan here and smashed all our wrong beliefs. As both these words are most misunderstood by us. So the key is Ishtaan which is to be in the center which is neither suppression not denial but just being in the center and completing all our experiences and once we do this then one day we will have the quest to know what is beyond all this and that's when we will truly seek and unite with the infinite and be self realised. Actually our mind always focus on what we don't want hence we should channel our energy towards what we want in Ife as this is what all the msters want us to focus.. Tum chahathey kya ho... The incidents shared from Lord Buddha's life was very powerful as just mere three experiences were enough for him to seek what is beyond this material world and the principle of middle path taken up by him to become realised one. The answers to the question about Blessings, Grace, yogic path etc were also very powerful. Thanks once again for the powerful session and all the guidance and healing. Pranaams, Sadhak- Narayanaswamy

Hari om Yogishri Thanks much for today's sadhana & discourse on the deeper principles of Ishtan Bhogan which stresses on following the middle path. If we take either of the two extremes, slipping into cravings or suppression of desires, that will cause more problems in real life. Lord Krishna takes the chariot right to the centre so Lord Arjuna can view this in his state of sorrow and then gives the higher principles. Lord Krishna also uses the word Ishtan the second time, couple of verses ago it was used with Ishta Kaaman. And now with Bhogan. So willfully whatever we choose is of real importance, with the backing of the higher principles. Once all the willful desires have been relinquished (as in the case of Lord Buddha) each sadhak will then single pointedly focus on what's beyond all that the material world has to offer, that moment search of Real truth or God will start & then higher energy & divine experiences will happen. Today's session was quite high level, could only follow along with you and was able to capture few points, as you always say during the empowerment the energy of regular Sunday discourse also will be high. Was able to feel it this time and also i felt the withdrawal of the mind during the Nidhidhyasana was also high since i think we are attuned more after this 18 days of empowerment. Will watch the session once again to gain all the points. The Q&A session was also very helpful. Thanks much & warm regards, Pranams Subramanyan
Hari Om Yogishri !! Thank You so much for the powerful discourse on the principle of middle path The best path to take to achieve the final goal (Infinite) is the middle path. This principle when followed sincerely, makes us put centered at any given situation. Balance is the key to sail through anything without getting sunk into anything. In this verse, the master has used the same principle to bridge the gap between extremities. Left to our own mind, we either tend to take the side of the extremes which is not going to help us in any way. In fact, each of the extremes has its own set of negative repercussions. In order to complete all our experiences, we need to balance between the tendency to indulge and the tendency to deny one's own self. To which the solution given out by these great masters is to exercise the principle of willful enjoyment. when we practice this principle, we neither take the side of self denial nor do we side indulgence. Practicing and following this principle will help us experience all the enjoyment in a well disciplined way and at the same time keeping us centered. Thank You so much for everything Yogishri 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Humble Pranaams
Hari Om Yogishri...Pranams... One thing is sure in life. That is we are all and every thing around us Infinite. We have come down from that Infinite to experience this planet earth. While experiencing this planet, we always should aim to get back to our original nature that is our true Self. How long shall we keep on experiencing the beings and objects of this planet. This feeling is much more deeper than mere intellectual understanding... Having said all the above, clearly all of us have got some specific Ichas to experience. The Ichas are class, dignified, welfare oriented to ourselves and to the society. If we fulfill those Ichas, life will look wonderful, class and stylish. The Ichas (Goals ) are specific and well defined. Dear Master, all the deep deep gratitude feelings combined and I am expressing to You... Thank You...Thank You Really Very Much...
Namaste Yogishri! A brilliant discourse yet again. Below are some key points: We're all born out of the infinite for some reason. Then we go through cycles of life and death until we fulfil that purpose, and finally get liberation or moksha. One learns that true purpose only after getting enlightened. Use it as an inspiration to further continue in your sadhana and learn your true purpose one day. One gets enlightened only after they complete their life experiences fully (bhoga). It is as if each fulfilled life experience leads you to seek a greater goal, and the end or the final goal is seeking god. And as long as you have unfulfilled experiences, you cannot seek God fully. Ask yourself what is it that you want. Choose which experiences you want in life wisely. Life is nothing but a series of experiences. Have clear goals and a direction for yourself. The magic of sadhana is that you can manifest anything that you seek (it implies that the relevant opportunities will present themselves -- not that one doesn't need to put any effort to fulfill their goals; effort is of course required). It is easy to fall prey to the two sides of any desire: complete indulgence or fully abstaining. Embrace the middle path of wilful desire instead (it requires strong willpower). This is the lesson that Gautama learnt in his life! Krishna is implying this by using the dual term "ishtan bhogan" instead of just using "bhogan" or completely avoiding the use of a sensitive word like bhogan. (Same applies to the phrase "ishta kamadhuk" from a couple verses back) Most people unfortunately understand spirituality as asking people to abstain from all worldly pleasures. That is simply incorrect. It is important to complete your experiences, purely abstaining will only lead to frustration and anger. Thanks, Deepak
Hari Om, Grateful for the discourse. The principles on yagnya, on the intention and higher goals are so relatable for self-development. Sadhana helps us to purify our motives and built the spirit of yagnya, it is important for us as sadhaks to give 100 or more to this. Soaking ourselves in the principles helps us set higher goals and achieve them, the direction of energy, the direction we give to the energy is essential, where we use it. Thank you for the ample support here on life principles, I am looking forward to soak myself in the above through the week. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hari Om Yogishri, Thank you so much for today's discourse and meditation. Thank you very much for always guiding us in life and constantly helping us to become better. I am always very grateful to you Some important points from today's discourse: 1. The principle of ishta - to choose and attract experiences in accordance with the natural laws - which is the middle path. 2. Freedom vs licensiousness - freedom is choosing while abiding by the rules present while licensiousness is acting without regard to any rules. Former is the correct path. 3. We need to choose our experiences. Once we have experienced them, then we will look towards the infinite. 4. Once we chose our experiences, we need to do sadhana to attract it and to ensure the blocks are removed. Thankyou so much sir. 🙏
Pranam Yogishri Thank you very much for today's Divine session. Myself and everyone of us are Blessed with your Divine Grace, and all the kinds of Sadhana, which you are making us do, are really enriching. Heartfully Grateful to you Yogishri. From today's discourse: 1. Three aspects we need to incorporate in our every action are - Bhavana, intentions behind our actions; Spirit of Yagya to be infused into our actions; and the Goals have to be much higher than our self-centered desires. 2. True Spirituality is flowering of personality. This Ancient Wisdom makes us to choose, desire, wish, arising out of our will - ; neither to suppress deny, nor to indulge (out of control) in the experiences of this life, enjoyments of this world. And living up to our true potential. As a Sadhak, we need to master the Sadhana of Ishta. 3. Bhoga means experience. I need to wish, choose, will fully decide what I want to experience in my life. I need to Define the goals in positive terms and seek them from the Highest. The goals must be for the welfare of oneself and for others (not self-centered, selfish). Yogishri thank you for installing many positive Divine principles, qualities in to us. I choose to do my Sadhana. Thank you for everything Yogishri. HARI OM
Thank you Yogishri for this great session Three aspects of karma yoga 1. Bhavah: Developing the best intention 2. Yagnah Service and sacrifice 3. Choosing the higher Always choosing that which is of a higher level. Eshtaan bhogaan Experiencing life has to be done through the concept of Eshtaan, which is through controlled desire. When you have this principle mastered, you will not fall into the experience but rather every experience will be on the path the highest. Middle Path The path of eshtaan is the middle path. It is not the path of indulgence nor of denial. It is by following this path that you can fulfill all your experiences. Once you have done that this path will open up the desire to reach the highest. ///
Hari AUM. Thank you Sri Yogishri for the session and for explaining ishta bogan. The three aspects to be incorporated in every action are bava, yajna, and higher goals to grow spiritually without giving up worldly pleasures but avoiding becoming slave to them or without kAma. Pleasures of life are enjoyed with a sense of detachment. iṣhṭān bhogān conveys the previous statement. ishtAn means wish and bogan is to enjoy. IshtA kAma is fulfilling desires willfully which means the same as iṣhṭān bhogān. Self-control is essential rather than self-denial which leads to repression and anger resulting in a block to progress in spiritual and worldly life. The opposite of denial is indulgence which also leads to devolution. Ishta is neither suppression nor denial and one who has ishtAn is centered. The choice of action is given by one’s will. BogAn and KAma are pre-fixed by ishta which is the key and keeps one centered. It is called the middle path of Buddha (majjhimā paṭipadā). Bogah also means experience. All experiences (anubava) must be accompanied by ishta. Anubava dhAra means flow of experiences. If experiences are positive then life becomes enjoyable. It is important to define what one wants to experience out of innumerable boga-s. “Seek and you shall receive”. The placement of chariot by Sri Krishna between the two armies (Pandva-s and Kaurava-s) is the symbolic aspect of the middle path.
Hari Om Yogishri. Awesome discourse today. A very nice capsule of defining the importance of spirituality in our lives. The central point of Sadhana has been again emphasized. Thank you again. Pranams to you. Manjunath
Hari Om and Pranaams Yogishriji. Thank you very much for a highly inspiring session. Some inspiring points from this session are: Leading life in a centered way. Not either indulging or suppressing my thoughts, emotions and speech. Inspired by Gautama transforming into a Buddha by choosing the middle path. During my sadhana I should emphasize on removing my negativities and asserting Positivity. Once I realize this, then I can reach out to my soul. Truly, an highly inspiring session. Thanks once again for your guidance and blessings. Hari 🕉.
Namaste Guruji, Thank you for the inspiring session What I learnt today: The middle path between self denial and self indulgence is the way to self mastery and divinity. With sincere gratitude, Usha
Hari Om Yogishri ! Thank you so much for a very powerful session ! Points that I could grasp: Nourished by sacrifice, the Gods will give you all that you desire ! Every action that one performs should have the following qualities : it should be performed with a pure intention, in the spirit of yagna, and should serve the Gods- the Higher goals. Such actions will fetch one all that one desires. “Ishtan Bogan” - here Ishtan refers to desire- kama-similar to Ichcha- desire borne out of will not desire - which is a craving or desire to which one is a slave. Bogan means enjoyments. Bogan also means experiences. Ishtan Bogan therefore means - experiences that you willfully desire. Our Shastras were never against enjoyments or the so called worldly enjoyments. What was said is that we need to be cautious about wealth and enjoyments in the sense that we should never become a slave to wealth or worldly enjoyments. At the same time, we should not be in the self denial mode. In other words, we should choose the middle path. We should be centered in all our experiences, neither moving to the extreme of indulgence nor moving to the extreme of self denial. This is the very meaning of Ishta. Choosing your desires, and remaining centered while experiencing them, without losing yourself nor depriving yourself is the key. This is what Lord Buddha had discovered and advocated for spiritual upliftment. Bogan means enjoyments, it also means experiences. Experiences are the unit of our lives; our life is a flow of experiences- Anubhava Dhara- If every experience in our life is wonderful then our whole life will be wonderful or vice versa. Our horoscope is what we are born with, it is based on our past karmas, but it need not necessarily bind or predict our destiny, we have the ability to choose and change our life experiences, by doing Sadhana consistently, we can remove our negative karmas and blocks. In order to gain the ability to choose our life experiences and remain centred while experiencing them, we need to do our Yoga Sankirtan Sadhana consistently. The Yoga Sankirtan sadhana, will help us release all the negative energy and blocks that we have stored within. At the same time, as we go through our experiences, when we remain centred we will be able to complete them one by one. When we indulge or stay in self-denial, our experiences will never get completed, on the other hand they will increase our desires. Once all our desires are complete, then, automatically, we will begin to seek the Higher- the awakening of mumukshatwa will take place and our only desire will be that of the Infinite- when this is truly sought, and there are no more experiences to complete, then God realization becomes a possibility. The pre- condition however is, removing all your negative karmas through Sadhana, choosing experiences willfully, remaining centered through the experiences and completing them one by one, finally desiring the Infinite and totally surrendering to the Infinite to experience the Infinite- in otherwords attaining Enlightenment. Home work - Identify what it is that you want to experience in life- with respect to physical experiences, relationships, career etc., “ Thum Chathe kya ho?” Thank you so much Yogishri for the inspiring session and the Divine Energy.
Hari: Om Yogishri, Thank you very much for the session today! Notes from the session today: ----------------------------------------------------- Chapter III Verse 12: Istaan Bhogan Bhogaha means Enjoyment. Life is series of Experiences, "Anubhava dhaara" Experience is a unit of Life. If every experience of is enjoyable, our Life is enjoyable. If every experience of life is negative, then we see life as negative. Making every experience of our life is the key to have a successful and joyful life. And the only way to make every experience as good as possible, is by defining what we actually want to experience. It is by writing our goals that we give direction to our life. By doing so, we will be able to channelize our energies to have a beautiful life. If not, we will be taken by the karmas of the past, and would not be living our life fully. ------------------------------------- Yagya, Bhavana, Deva are the 3 important keywords in previous verse. By purifying your bhavana, and by doing every activity as a Yagnya, and by aiming for the higher goal (is God), we can reach that higher state ------------------ Budhdha - Compassion - Enjoy everything and do it in a detached way. - Follow the middle path. Never get too attached and devolve with the enjoyments, and on the never restrict yourself from the basic enjoyments that you want to experience. if you restrict yourself, you will get frustraction and anger in the life. - Lord Krishna's Chariot kept in the middle of the battlefield also symbolizes that you have the way to devolve, by indulging. and you also have the path to fight for righteouness. Choose which path you want to stick to. - Only when we are in the middle, we will be able to reach the infitine since we will not be judgemental. - If we get angry and frustrated, it would be due to this suppression from physical contact that we shy'ed from being fullfilled. Thank you very much, Sir !
Hari Om Though there are many commentaries on the Bhagavad gita from many masters, the uniqueness I find here is that Yogisri analyses the choice of each word Lord Krishna has used be it,, … ishta, kama, Bogha, Yagna, ... etc in different dimensions and angles. In that context, we would like you to talk little more on the word “grace”, how it works, and how to become receptive to it. Beyond one’s sadhana, efforts, and intelligence, Many masters attribute the grace of Guru in their biography for whatever they had. How Grace works and how to become receptive is the question?. How grace will descend? How to make this life a weave of grace? How do we know whether the Guru’s grace is upon us? How to become available to grace even when not in physical proximity? Some say, if you are less of yourself in the presence of Guru, grace comes not in drops but in cascades. To have a solid logical base, yet be open to grace is it possible? . “ तुम चाहते क्या हो?…….Yes.. the truth is I really don’t know what I want. What I desired and got yesterday became redundant and even burdensome today. Yet desires don't stop Pranams
Hari Om Yogishri The three aspects to be incorporated in your actions which will enable you to grow both in the materialistic world and spiritual world are: Bhava pure intention Yagya spirit of sacrifice Goals which are higher Enjoy everything in the world, in your life, but with detachment and objectively. Your life itself is multi dimensional existence. Spirituality is flowering of your personality. When you suppress your emotions, an inbuilt anger and frustration will develop within you. With this anger and frustration when you contact the world you will start judging everybody. All your energy will start getting directed towards criticizing others. It will increase the anger within you which will become a big block. Then you will not be able to see the divinity in everyone because you will start seeing there faults. You see their faults because you are being judgemental. You are being judgemental because deep down within you, you have suppressed the emotions. Your will power gives the choice of action. Don't get into indulgence (being too loose) or self denial (being too tight). When you are doing your Yoga Sankirtan Sadhana, start releasing your emotions. Sadhana should sublimate you. Seeking will make you a perfect sadhak. Fix goals in all aspects of your life. Sukshma jyotisha is subtle astrology wherein you are the creator of your life. Ishtan bhogan is choosing your experiences and being centred in your experiences. Pranams 🙏 #Yogishri
Hari Om Yogishri 🙏🏻 The points learn in today's lecture are :- 1. Spirituality is not against enjoyment. The belief that if we acquire wealth or we enjoy things in our lives is against spirituality is a wrong belief 2. Being a spiritual means neither we should suppress/repress our desires nor should we indulge in them. We should opt for the middle path 3. There is a common belief that we should consider learning ancient wisdom like Bhagavat Geeta after retirement, which is very much wrong belief. 4. Lord Krishna gave a sermon of Bhagavat Geeta standing in the middle of the battle field which gave strength to Arjuna to face challenges in his life. 5. Spiritual wisdom gives us strength to face challenges in our lives that's why it's necessary to learn this wisdom at the start of our life and not after retirement. 6. Blessings means to feel our life as a blessing right from our birth as a human up to everything which got in our life at all levels. The challenges which we face in our life is also a blessing in disguise as those challenges give us an opportunity to grow. 7. Blessings also means wishing good for others from our heart & soul. It also means feeling our life as a वरम् Thank you Yogishri 😊❤️ Hari Om 🙇🏻♀️ Neha

Very very powerful session. A lot to reflect and practice 🙏. Thank you so much Yogishri 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for the powerful session today Yogishri.....lots of gratitude to you and all the masters🙏
Hari Om Yogishri.
Awesome discourse today. A very nice capsule of defining the importance of spirituality in our lives. The central point of Sadhana has been again emphasized.
Thank you again.
Pranams to you.
Manjunath
Hari Om 🙏
Hari om guruji...
We have to be clear about what we want in our life...
Do our daily sadhana...
Thank you guruji...
Pranams...
Hari Om and Pranaams Yogishriji.
Thank you very much for a highly inspiring session.
Some inspiring points from this session are:
Leading life in a centered way.
Hari 🕉.
Really great message Guruji
Thank you so much Yogishri 🙏
Namaste Guruji,
Thank you for the inspiring session
What I learnt today:
The middle path between self denial and self indulgence is the way to self mastery and divinity.
With sincere gratitude,
Usha
Hari Om Yogishri !
Thank you so much for a very powerful session !
Points that I could grasp:
Nourished by sacrifice, the Gods will give you all that you desire !
Home work - Identify what it is that you want to experience in life- with respect to physical experiences, relationships, career etc., “ Thum Chathe kya ho?”
Thank you so much Yogishri for the inspiring session and the Divine Energy.
Hari: Om Yogishri, Thank you very much for the session today!
Notes from the session today:
-----------------------------------------------------
Chapter III Verse 12: Istaan Bhogan
Bhogaha means Enjoyment.
Life is series of Experiences, "Anubhava dhaara"
Experience is a unit of Life.
-------------------------------------
Yagya, Bhavana, Deva are the 3 important keywords in previous verse.
By purifying your bhavana, and by doing every activity as a Yagnya, and by aiming for the higher goal (is God), we can reach that higher state
------------------
Budhdha - Compassion
- Enjoy everything and do it in a detached way.
Hari Om
Though there are many commentaries on the Bhagavad gita from many masters, the uniqueness I find here is that Yogisri analyses the choice of each word Lord Krishna has used be it,, … ishta, kama, Bogha, Yagna, ... etc in different dimensions and angles.
Yet desires don't stop
Pranams
Hari Om Gurudev🙏🙏🙏
Hari Om Yogishri
The three aspects to be incorporated in your actions which will enable you to grow both in the materialistic world and spiritual world are:
Bhava pure intention
Yagya spirit of sacrifice
Goals which are higher
Enjoy everything in the world, in your life, but with detachment and objectively.
Hari Om Yogishri 🙏🏻
The points learn in today's lecture are :-
1. Spirituality is not against enjoyment. The belief that if we acquire wealth or we enjoy things in our lives is against spirituality is a wrong belief
2. Being a spiritual means neither we should suppress/repress our desires nor should we indulge in them. We should opt for the middle path
It also means feeling our life as a वरम्
Thank you Yogishri 😊❤️
