Hari om Very subtle spiritual goals are revealed in between during the session. “How do we measure the spiritual growth? By measuring the level of awareness”. Pure unconditioned objectless awareness is the goal. Life is designed as a combination of pleasure and suffering to deepen awareness. The Sadhana is how to plot the whole life towards experiencing that unconditional awareness. (Yogisri like many other masters claims that nothing is a hindrance… be it… Wealth, possession, relationship, profession, etc…). But when we are among these, the journey is one step forward, one step backward only to find that I remain wherever I am. Sometimes this is important, sometimes that is important. Simply all over the place without reaching anywhere. Pranams .
Hari Om Yogishri, Thank you so much for today's wonderful sadhana and discourse. I understood that it is very important to realize that when contacting the world, the mind will obviously go through some amount of desire, that's the very nature of life and experience. One should not try to get a feeling of guilt when the mind goes through that. Purification through sadhana and relating to the world correctly will help engage in activities and also maintain steady state of mind. We saw the different aspects of Lobha, Kama and Icha. Bringing awareness to desire is they key. Once awareness increases, you can definitely start objectively looking at the world. One part is detached attachment, other is enjoying every experience. Both should be kept in mind. We saw 3 more dimensions of the word Bhoga : 4) Enduring - going through the suffering of life with enjoyment attitude (Thithiksha) 5) Sensual pleasure - the real love and physical union of two souls and 6) Utility - making maximum utilization of this life, to really get connected to the infinite within this life. Through last week and this week's discourse, it is pertinent to say I understand that this life is really a Gift in so many ways and that too under the direct guidance of Guru's wisdom and Guru Shakthi. I will definitely make efforts to improve everyday. With humble pranams, Wishing you and your family a very happy new year 2025! Subramanyan
HariOm Guruji Namaha 🙏 Many subtle principles were explained more deeply in today’s session. The ever present feeling of guilt within us. Until this block is removed, the attainment of enlightenment is very far. We have heard of Quality Time. It was first time I was hearing Quality Experience. Though we have had so many quality experiences 😊. One goal written in my vision board is the sacking of my tenant- EGO. Because as long as this tenant exists in my residence, becoming a Stitapragnya is not possible. I have started forming the gps. May Your ever flowing grace help me get rid of him by end 2025😊 Thank You Guruji !! Shivoham 🙏😊
Hari Om Inspiring session today. The different dimensions of Bhogaha were given today. Make the maximum utility value for this and have a good spiritual growth. Enduring pain is required to become a good sadhak and to have a spiritual growth. Thank you so much Yogishri 🙏🙏 My heartfelt gratitude and humble Pranams 🙏🙏
Namaste Guruji, Thank you again. Hari 🕉 and Pranaams Yogishriji. Thank you very much for a very deep, powerful session. The varied dimensions of ISHTAAN BHOGAAN are truly inspiring to practice and grow. Both externally and internally. Thanks once again for your guidance and blessings. Hari 🕉
Hari Om Yogishri, Points to ponder : Dimensions of bhogaha : 1. Various experiences. 2. Eating in a worldly sense and spiritual sense. 3. Enjoyment and suffering. 4. Enduring - thithiksha. No pain no gain. 5. Wordly possessions and sensual pleasures (handling both in a divine way). 6. Utility - if our thoughts, emotions and actions are directed towards our goal then we are utilising our life properly. Guilt - it is a negative feeling which needs to be avoided. Always we need to satisfy our righteous desires and not carry any guilty feeling about it. (Ishtaan bhogaan). Thanks a ton Yogishri.
Thank You Yogishri for Todays session. There is a general misconception that desires and bhoga are non spritiual, this is not righ. They shall be experienced in rightway without being out of control and turning into greed, we should learn from the experiences and Desires and grow spiritually. This can happen only when we do Sadhana regularly and evolve. Ishtan Bhoga means experiences from which we shall learn , eating i.e. nuturing our minds, pleasures and sufferings, endurance to bring in self discipline and positive thibgsbin life, wealth and possesions, sensual pleasures we shall not get lost in those and at the end utility i.e. experiencing the life to fullest not in tamasic and rajsic way, but in satvic way and experience life to fullest in spritual way. Grace from the master is seeked and when u r connected with Master, this will always be there. With lots of gratitude and regards Parul
Thank you Yogishrit for this deep, soul-stirring session, The various aspects of Bhogah Guilt and Bhogah People fall under the erroneous notion that enjoyment is bad. As such, whenever they go through an experience of pleasure, they experience an amount of guilt with it. This stored in the mind and becomes a block. Such an idea needs to be abandoned. This is because one is born on earth to experience something and to fulfil one's desires. Even in the case of the Gods, there are these desires. However, the desire there is a Ishtaaan Bhogah rather than Kaam Bhogah. In such a state, life becomes a play, something that the Yogis find. One will not be born on earth if one doesn't have any desires at all. Hence, it is important to understand that bhogah is an essential aspect of life. Bhogah as enduring Bhogah also relates to the difficult experiences of ones life. In life one is provided with both painful and pleasurable experiences. One needs to be able to learn from each of them. In order to do that one has to be able to endure an amount of pain willingly. Even to get more pleasurable experiences, in the spirit of Yagna, one will have to endure some pain. Bhogah as Utility Bhogah also relates to utility. In every experience one needs to find out what one gets out of this experience. It is only by learning from every experience and making the best of every experience that one can reach the highest. There are three ways of going through experiences: 1. Thamasic: Mechanically going through life 2. Rajasic: Engaging and utilising the experience but doing it through much stress. Owing to the stress one is not able to get the best out of the experience. 3. Satvik: Engaging with the experience fully by surrendering oneself to the higher principle. This is done with a calm attitude and one is able to get the highest experience. ends///
Life is nothing but a flow of experiences. Life is best when experiences are best. What makes experiences best is ones impressions, attitude, and habits. Change the habits and attitudes by removing blocks and impressions through Sadana. 🙏
Hari Om Yogishri 🙏🏻 The points learn in today's lecture are :- 1. It's a wrong concept that enjoyment is non spiritual. Because of this misconception, we carry guilt when we go for enjoyment. 2. Kama means desire developed to fulfill lacuna/vaccum created when we feel unhappy or sad. 3. When we indulge in Kama then it develops into Bhoga means Greed. Greed corrupts our mind and to fulfill that greed a person loses mind control and downfall to any level to fulfill his/her greed. 4. Ichcha means desire created consciously and is fulfilled with a detached mind. Ichcha is created when a person is in a state of happiness/fulfillment. 5. Yoga Sankirtan Sadhana helps us to convert our desires from Bhoga to Kama and from Kama to Ichcha. 6. Bhoga also means enduring pains. Here pains means self imposed discipline. 7. When we willingly decide to develop discipline in our life then we have to endure certain pains. 8. Enduring such pains makes us more strong. This is the reason behind the early morning timings kept for the 22 days empowerment to help sadhak to develop self imposed discipline. 9. The Grace of the God & Gurushakti is always there. It is us who fail to receive it because of our ego. Surrendering ourselves to Gurushakti before & after doing Yoga Sankirtan Sadhana will help us to receive the Grace of Gurushakti 10. To receive the Grace of our Guru it's not necessary to be in close physical contact with him because complete surrender to our Guru only helps us to receive his Grace Thank you Yogishri 😊 Hari Om 🙇🏻♀️ Neha
Hari Om Yogishri...Pranams... --> What is the beauty of our spiritual path (Yogic Approach) is that there is a deep sense of security. A deep understanding that we need not to do anything abnormal to grow spiritually. We can grow spiritually in life along with our normal desires. Desires for living and enjoying in this world with dignity. This path does not take away us from our normal enjoyments. Normal enjoyments differ person to person. --> When we observe some other systems of spirituality, the preacher starts the speech addressing the people there as sinners. Imagine the danger in this approach. It is better not to think and analyse too much about other approaches and all. --> Bhogah is generally understood as non-spiritual. Here in this verse, Lord Krishna is smashing all these concepts. If enjoyments are considered as wrong, then life can not lived effectively. --> Energy of Guilt is very dangerous. It will not allow us to realise our God Potential. Deeper mind is considering desires as wrong. Guilt is formed moment by moment in small proportions because of fundamental misconception that desires as wrong. We must stop this mechanism of forming guilt from its roots. -->Per say desires are not wrong. It is how we deal with them. Desires becoming Vega is dangerous. Desires becoming lobha is wrong. Desires not under control is kama. Kama is never good in life. Kamas always corrupt our minds. --> Then what should we do ? We need to learn to convert all our kamas into our Ichas. Icha is a Shakthi. One kind of positive energy force within us. With this energy, we will convert all our ichas into our goals and based on that we will act in this world. Then we will be safe. --> Otherwise, the consequences of fulfilling our uncontrolled desires will be very dangerous. The pains will be multidimensional. --> With the help of Yoga Sankirtan Sadhana, let us develop our Icha Shakthi. We will master of our lives. We can face any eventualities of life. --> If we allow these lower things i.e. kama and lobha, they ruin our lives. We will loose our purpose of life. We will get lost somewhere in this world. And eventually die one day. At death bed, when questions will come, what answers we will give to ourselves. And they are talking about next janma and all. Before entering another mothers womb, what will be our plight. And once we enter another mother's womb, it is said we remember all our acts of previous life for 4 or 5 months in the womb. Now imagine about our plight. --> So considering all the above things it is better for us to do sadhana sincerely and live our life with enjoyment and dignity. The whole sadhana is to experience the world in a detached way. 5th Dimension of Bhogah : Thitiksha : Enduring : difficulties of life with cheer and smile. As sadhaks, we need to develop this kind of mind set. Disciplined life will pose some challenges difficulties to us. Accepting them willfully is Bhogah. 6th Dimension of Bhogah : Sensual Pleasures and Possessions : Sense enjoyments per are not wrong. Getting lost in them is wrong. We need not to have exaggerated value to them. They come and go. We need to keep our head above them. 7th Dimension of Bhogah : Utility : We need to keep on checking the use of experiences in our life. We need to see whether our life is growing while we are having our Anubhava Dhara. We need to grow to a level of Infinite, our true God Potential with help of our experiences. Thank You So Much Yogishri...
Hari AUM. Thank you Sri Yogishri for the session and for giving some more dimensions for bogah. Bogah is not non-spiritual as some consider. Sri Krishna uses the word bogah by using prefix ishta. Desires cannot be avoided and if so, it will lead to an incomplete experiences which in turn lead to guilt. Guilt leads to the thought of impurity in the deeper layers of one’s mind. Guilt factor must be released in order to reach the Infinite. How does one prevent guilt taking hold of one? It is through yajna, and a guru helps to achieve such a state. KAma and subsequent loba or greed is not spiritual and acts as a block to progress. Therefore, kAma must not be allowed to take hold of one. Sadana helps one to convert loba to kAma and kAma to icha (willful desire). Sanghah = attachment. One must come out of attachment. One must maintain awareness. The 5th dimension of bogah is enduring which is accepting inconveniences that must be self-imposed. The 6th dimension of Bogah is sensual pleasure without craving for it. The 7th dimension is utility which helps to check the quality of an entity. The criteria of good quality is utility. The greater the utility the greater is the quality such as the duration of positive experience, mechanical approach decreases the quality, awareness increases it, and the utility is augmented by fully undergoing one’s experiences.

Truth: Desire is a natural part of life, not something to avoid. It becomes a problem only when it leads to attachment, greed, or a lack of control.
2. Transforming Desire into a Positive Force
Stages of Desire:
Lobha (Greed): Unchecked desire that becomes harmful and corrupting.
Kama (Basic Desire): Desire driven by dissatisfaction or lack.
Ichcha Shakti (Willful Desire): A conscious and empowered form of desire arising from inner happiness and awareness.
Key Transition: Shift from Lobha (greed) to Desire (Kama) to Willful Intention (Ichcha Shakti) to align with higher spiritual goals.

Example: Eating (Experiencing) can be a spiritual act if done mindfully, appreciating its purpose and avoiding overindulgence.
4. Building Resilience Through Endurance

Practical Example: The discipline of waking early or consistent spiritual practice may be uncomfortable initially but builds inner strength over time.
5. Evaluating Experiences: The Utility Approach
Life as a Flow of Experiences:
Each experience has the potential to teach and elevate one spiritually if approached correctly.
Experiences should be seen as spiritual "nutrition" for the soul.
Three Modes of Approach:
Tamasic: Passive, dull, and mechanical, offering little value.
Rajasic: Restless, stressful, and chaotic, with limited benefit.
Saatvic: Calm, clear, and spiritually aligned, maximizing growth and utility.
6. Applying Detachment in Life
The Key: Enjoy the world without becoming a slave to it.
Examples:
Wealth and possessions: Not inherently bad but should not define or control you.
Relationships: Approach them with love and awareness, not dependency or greed.
7. Spiritual Growth Through Daily Life
Integration: Use life’s ups and downs as opportunities for learning and maturing.
Karma Yoga: Perform all actions with mindfulness and detachment, focusing on their spiritual purpose rather than personal gain.
8. The Role of Grace
Kripa (Grace): Openness to divine blessings and the guidance of a guru is essential for receiving spiritual energy and support.
9. Wisdom from Scriptures
Divine Love as an Example:
The love between gods and goddesses (e.g., Shiva-Parvati, Rama-Sita) is depicted as willful, conscious, and free of greed. It’s about alignment with divine energy, not attachment.
10. Practical Steps for Spiritual Living

Reflect on desires (Manana) : Are they arising from lack or willful intention?
Approach challenges as opportunities for growth.
Evaluate Your Approach:
