  • Is this the most beautiful lake in Washington? I came away from this 2-day backpacking trip in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness thinking that this might just be the most beautiful lakes that I've seen in Washington. The turquoise water of Jade Lake with its surrounding mountains are a photographers dream. I did this trip in mid-July when the wildflowers were peaking and the accompanying bees and butterflies let me film them while they went about their business. Always a great experience to be in nature and feel connected to the world around us.
    Film Gear used:
    Sony ZV-E1 Body
    Sony 16-35 F4 PZ Lens
PolarPro PK Variable ND Filter 2-5 stop

I love your filming style. So peaceful and melodic to watch if that makes any sense.

Just stunning! The methodology of slowing down and capturing the subtle moments of the insects and the sunset color changes made it even more beautiful! Bravo 🎉!!!

Good for you. Same here, this was my first time. I plan to visit it again and maybe go up to the gap. I hear the views from up there are pretty nice!

Really well done. Beautiful. Peaceful. Even better in the highest quality resolution (2160p4K) and full screen.

I was just there a few weeks ago. I had seen dozens of videos and was still shocked by the beauty.

Totally agree. When I came over the ridge and saw the lake for the first time, "I thought wow, pictures don't do it justice". You picked a good time to do it when there were likely no bugs! Cheers.

This has to be the best ones oh the High Route. Any fish?

Not sure about fish. I didn't see anyone fishing while I was there. In hindsight, I should have packed my UL rod. Good luck!
