I noticed as you held the bows up the Mathews cams are bigger,. I was surprised by the speed difference, how much would a pound add. I've seen other reviews with a decibel meter and Mathews is only 1 -2 decibels quieter. Great review man.
I shot both of these bows yesterday and felt the exact same way. Without any stabilizers or anything the phase4 fit my hand way better and felt more balanced
Hey Haxen, can you do a speed test on the alpha x at 26 in draw please?! I've been scouring youtube for a speed test in 26 in draw with a 400 to sub 400 grain arrow. Thanks in advance, I seen you'd done some speed test in years past in this draw range.
Sounds like Mathews needed to tweak those cams. Seems like they lose a lot of efficiency with the heavier grain arrows. Then the LIFT comes to the rescue...
I just got my first flagship bow the other day shot all the bows they had and to me the hoyt felt and shot the best i love the grip ans feel and the shot cycle on the hoyt was better i usally ahoot 55lbs but all the had was 60 to 70 and 60 is heqvy for me but the hoyt made is easy pulling a weight im not use to the hoyt made is feel like my 55lb bow and was a breeze to draw
I will say the phase 4 29 is probally the best bow on the market. Have the rx7 ultra was a pain to tune, and is big for ground blind hunting. I shot the phase 4 29 and will have it come this winter. That's if Mathews doesn't release something comparable. Hoyt guy here and Mathews is just killing it.
Good Lordy, something about that Hoyt makes it look like its made for an absolute Unit of a human being! lol, Mathews always produces the look and feel i like personally!
Hoyt must be running out of ideas their. Bows look more like Mathews Bows everyday I really think they're missing out Hoyt ought to come out with a really nice crossbow like a lot of the big bowl manufacturers have done and they would be a lot better off because every archery shop I go into they sell 10 crossbow before they sell one compound bow people are preferring crossbows over the compound bows because they're easier to shoot it doesn't require the skill level and they outperform every compound bow on the market even the cheapest crossbows outperformed the high-dollar compound bows that's just how it is
@haxenhunt. Wanna see rx8 ultra vs alpha x 33. Want your full yest and comparison

Brand new to bow hunting/archery in general (also new sub!) Would love a chance to win that V3 you’re giving away. Are there any entries left?
Same here
