Now that is one good evening. Life time moments to cherish. Wild food mostly comes with parasites. I harvested a red deer last week and it came with 'keds' in the fur which i still keep finding a week later. 🙂
As usual a stunning video - I love your style - videography and music selection - how exciting.. great fishing skills and what a cook. You guys spent two winters in Largs - did you stay in any marina's in Ireland? Thanks Dirk
Thanks Dirk! We spent a couple of days in Dun Laoghaire Marina, Dublin (we were underwhelmed), Ardglass (lovely small place, OK stop over between Dublin and Belfast, and Belfast City Marina. We have videos about it - #6 and #7 tell it all…
Lovely videos and nice fishing - those cod were excellent eating fish. 👍🏼
Thanks 👍

But there‘s nothing that beats self harvested food - whatever it carries…
Thanks for watching!

@@sailingpolaris thanks for that - i will go find them..merry christmas to you and your family..
Thank you - likewise! ❤️
Nice video, thank you! Where do you check out the tides there?
We use the Imray Tides Planner App. And then try to guess between the sparsely spaced tidal stations. And give it a good safety margin…
The fish you got are Torsk and Brosme ( Norwegian name) , they are in the same family, Brosme is a very good fish but very tough to cut into.
Thanks! I remember it was very tough to fillet… a Brosme it was then, the one with the long single dorsal fin.
@@sailingpolarisCorrect!
@sveinberth 👍🏻
Correct. Tusk or Brosme in norwegian.
Many thanks! In any case it was delicious!
