    This little Trailhawk is darned near insulting these big dogs. Trailhawks are downright awesome. Love mine. Trailhawks might have zero articulation whatsoever, but they have everything else - and they don't beat you up on city streets like Wranglers do. And this little TH, unlike the big dogs, are economical daily drivers that hold the kids, groceries, and spare, without a hitch or roof rack. And taking that drop at 13:27 was AMAZING, did better than the Wrangler!

I have like 6 videos in the back log atm...which i need to clear out because i'll be wheeling for the next few weekends...and getting even more footage! I will try my hardest to get the next one up this weekend!

    Very capable Trailhawk. Milstars are nice tires which I’ve considered purchasing but they seem a bit slick for that particular terrain which I’ve seen before on other Jeeps.

Depending on when you go, this mess should be over by then! Good luck! Colorado has good wheeling and large capacity hospitals if not tho! Come here!

    That little Cherokee looks ridiculous with its wheels 3 feet in the air but it does it. Reminds me of a mini H1. You do gain a little something with a low cog and no diffs to drag in the center.

    • @FearlessTrailhawk
      @FearlessTrailhawk  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The lack of low hanging diffs is something many never consider. Though my control arms are what hangs me up in the deep ruts. I love how freaked out my wrangler friends get when i lift a tire because in their minds that means i'm about to roll over or something...

  • @whalehands4779
    @whalehands4779 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    This is why I’d take the Cherokee over a wrangler. Close to as capable but more practical in every way. Get the panoramic roof and boom, easy open top!

    • @FearlessTrailhawk
      @FearlessTrailhawk  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Right! Every time i see one of my wrangler friends complaining about taking the top off or putting it back on...i just look at that handly little button i have! Granted its not quite the same...but i do quite enjoy being able to hear myself think! I could never be able to stand the noise from a naked wrangler at highway speeds.

    Hey - great video. I am a new Jeep owner in Ohio and would love to hit a trail. How do I find out when and where the next ride is?

    • @FearlessTrailhawk
      @FearlessTrailhawk  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks man! I try to post when i'll be going next, but i sometimes forget. Usually try to mention in in the vid, and/or post them in the video description.
      As for in general, join some of the ohio based clubs and groups. Some of the clubs host monthly member only rides, and some groups do open rides. I'm a little biased, but i've only had great experiences with MOJO, very awesome and active Jeep club. A quick search for "Ohio Jeep Club" on facebook yields most of the ones i'm familiar with.

    So tell me about this Trailhawk. I have an XJ with 4.5 inch lift on 33's. I want a "Daily" aka one I pay a note on...and I am looking at the Trailhawk Cherokee. I CAN NOT leave any vehicle stock. If it is a Jeep it needs mud tires. What upgrades have you done to your Trailhawk?

    How reliable has your jeep been I am super split between a 2022 and a forester wilderness...???

    • @FearlessTrailhawk
      @FearlessTrailhawk  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you'd asked me this 6 months ago, i'd say its great. But after my recent rear diff replacement, i haven't been able to wheel without having some electronic 4x4 issue. For the 3 years prior only issues i've had really could basically be traced back to me wheeling it a bunch or doing something dumb.
      I'd still pick this over a forester for capablility. imho.

  • @abassi1173

    Have you tried using the off road cruise control or hill descent control?

    • @FearlessTrailhawk
      @FearlessTrailhawk  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have a couple of times, its neat, and i mean to use it more but i just forget about it. Though anymore for hill decent i just put it in first and supplement with brakes, where the mode will do it with 100% brakes.

      So far no more issues with them since the diff was replaced. I'm goimg back to Moab again this summer so we'll see how they do. I honestly think the rear end collision contributed to the failure.
