THE MARCH OF THE CLOWNS 2022 kicks off with a cult classic slasher from 1987, Blood Harvest! Tiny Tim stars as Mervo the Magnificent, a clown who happens to be around while a horror movie occurs. People are missing, the final girl is being tormented, and the director is trying to figure out how many scenes he can get her in with as little attire as possible. But hey! There's a clown in a few scenes, so it still counts.

Why do I feel like Tiny Tim could've had a great career as an actor???? I get that 2 of his songs have places in pop culture, most notably "Tiptoe Through The Tulips" being used in James Wan's Insidious, but this is apparently his ONLY film he ever done as an actor, and this was made when his music career was at a standstill ever since he divorced his first wife in 1974 and couldn't relive his success when his two songs were released in 1968, and you can tell there was something wrong with him by just looking at his body (He had a poor diet and I think he was a drinker after he divorced his second wife, but I could be wrong on that part). You have to feel bad for the man, he knew his music history, and sounded like he was a great guy to talk to. RIP Tiny Tim, we still miss you, man.

See, I feel like this movie gets it. The clown isn't scary because he's a clown, he's scary because he's a clown randomly and unexpectedly in the kitchen

At first, from the Thumbnail, I thought Decker finally got a role in an Indy film.

I had missed this film. Tiny Tim is always entertaining. Did it ever occur to her that locking the doors would have kept the constant string of weirdos out of her house? 🤔🤣
Never has there been a better time to play "Living in the sunlight" watching Tiny Tim doing his thing. Sadly missed by falsetto ukelele players everywhere.
There's another reviewer, Brandon Tenold, who regularly plays that song in his videos.
Interesting thing about Tiny Tim is that he was actually a natural baritone singer, but his crazy falsetto songs are the ones that became famous.

Best part of this movie was the theme Marvelous Mervo by Tiny Tim that played during the end credits.

He only harvested blood from scotch and it was for one scene (that fried chicken bucket in the fridge) . And really the amount was closer to a blood collection than harvest

I saw this with my gf, and we felt this was an underrated low budget masterpiece. At least to us.

The opening scene shows (albeit with confusing editing) Gary hanging Jill's dad from the well upside down and slitting his throat, while merve watches and sings "gary and jill". he fed jills mom ( no clue why gary kept her alive for a while then killed her) and while not physically aiding his brother was privy to the information. It's safe to assume that Gary threatened the same statement about him being sent to a home if he confessed about killing Jill's parents, pretty sure thats what he was going to explain to jill (in his cabin) before gary showed up. So technically hes an accomplice but a very defendable one.
Also there might be the weirdest cat jump scare I can think of. It technically qualifies as a big lipped alligator moment because it's a weird moment even within the film's tone it comes out of nowhere is never explained and never referenced again.

We always knew Tiny Tim was the patron saint of creepy movie serial killers but this is just rubbing our faces in the cream makeup.
Saw this movie not that long ago. Worth a watch, if just for Tiny. Tiny Tim was a fascinating human being. I loved it when he would go on the Stern Show, in the days way before Sirius, and just give his reviews of products he used and hear the great stories he had. He had a hard time with some of his issues and OCD he dealt with, but always seemed willing to talk about everything.
Tiny Tim doesn’t need the make up to be scary.

Rebane's the director of Monster a Go Go and the Giant Spider Invasion so Blood Harvest has to be his best film.
The 80s had some of the best low budget horror movies ever!

My history of this movie. First saw it because was one of the movies dad had on VHS. I remembered this movie or more specifically the closing credits song a few months ago. Couldn't remember the name, so I went to Tiny Tim's IMDb page, and was like, oh yeah, that's it. And a check of finding it online, was pleased to see Tubi has it. For me, it's cheesy, but a fun cheesy, and I do enjoy it.
As a leg man, all I can say is something creepy.
The killer is this movie was made so obvious it hurts! Still a great review as always. I’m just glad they didn’t make Tiny Tim the killer.

The robot overlords are indeed correct as every March of the Clowns episodes stay at the top of my feed for 2 to 3 days before being pushed down. Most of his other episodes unless they're a Summer of end up down in the 5 to 10 top videos on my feed range.

That was a Polaroid Camera Decker, the pictures develop automatically using very expensive film, about $1 a picture in the 1980's-90's. The old standby for making your own home porn pictures ;). because most US photoshops would not develop X-rated photos on regular film. Still , getting Polaroid's perfect at the same angle and cropped was super impressive
