  • Alexander Golden recounts the story of his well-off uncle, a man who financially seemingly had everything anyone could wish for. Then, he reveals the truth, a truth that illustrates the dire need for better personal finance instruction in the classroom. Alexander Golden is a junior at The Branson School. He became interested in financial topics at an early age and strongly believes in the importance of being financially literate. He is teaching a two-week financial literacy course at his high school and will be teaching basic economic concepts to middle schoolers this summer. Through his research, Alexander realized that disparity in financial knowledge is a large contributor to economic inequality. To help combat this discrepancy, Alexander is an advocate for mandatory financial literacy classes in all middle and high schools. He hopes that his talk will help inspire schools to start incorporating financial literacy classes into their curriculum. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

Yeah , afcourse i agree with teaching a subject called financial education . So that in our students mind there will be ideas and infact better ideas when they will know it well enough. And this is so not so special subject for some persons . But it is not necessary for those who really DON'T UNDERSTAND it and don't want to be successful in reality.
Infact the greatest book of time (THINK AND GROW RICH) writer Robert kyosaki says .
That i hate schools and school teachers who don't really know what is the meaning of education . And they are doing one thing all their lives .
    So educate financially yourself.
So that you will the next elon musk, next billi gates , next steve jobes .etc....
With your own new idea .
    Super cool right😎👍.
