WHAT DID I JUST SEE IN FLORENCE, ITALY

This was the trip to Florence done on Oct. 18, 2022, Florence is not huge, but packaged with enormous attractions to see and do, making it an intense and exciting city to visit. So, how much can you see/do if you only have one day and one night? After a much thought, we decided to visit the duomo and its surrounding interesting attractions. We bought our tickets to the cathedral prior to this visit. Florence was rebuilt during the Renaissance period, but the eastern part of the city retains its distinctly medieval ambience. We climbed to the top of the dome terraces and get to see the beautiful city of Florence in its grandiosity. The remains of the medieval Basilica of Santa Reparata was interesting. So as the displays on the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo.
