Your doing a better job at selling this bike then WTP is
🤣 Probably. I have actually sold quite a few bikes from multiple companies.
I also hope I have deterred some people from buying some bikes and products.
How much?
Glad you put these videos out on the Swampmaster. I first saw them back in January when I got the WTP Envy. They seem like they would be a lot of fun. The suspension has these 66 year old knees wanting it for the skate park. In truth, I just need better technique.
I put regular tires on mine and it dramatically improves how it feels. Those large tires with high rolling resistance and gearing make it really hard to get going. I wanted to gear down then put street tires on and she flies and still looks good, although not quite as cool! I'm 51 and wanted a bike with suspension for my knees and I can't stop bunnyhopping and jumping things. Disk brake really helps with confidence for manuals. I also put 10" bars on as I'm 6'2. Heading to pump track for the first time after work today!
Interesting! I've never seen such bike until I stumbled on your video. Thank you for the information!
This bike just came out a couple of weeks ago. That's probably why you haven't seen one before.
@@ShadLife thank you, that makes sense.
Those Q&A videos are what I miss on other chanals, especially in my country
👍👍👍👍👍
This is great. Keep running with making videos about this bike. People will watch!!
They used the same thing on the lower pivot on the digit Daytum bikes from what it looks like
awesome! thanks for answering the questions!!
Awesome Shad! I totally dig it Dude!
I'm happy you like it!! And I didn't know wheels are measured with the tires. I thought a 29in was a 29in wheel w/o a tire. It's true "we" do learn something every day 😊
Rims are measured in ISO. So a 20" wheels rim is 16". Here is a chart.
www.modernbike.com/iso-sizes-for-bicycle-tires-and-rims
This is why a 26" Fat Bike with a huge 4.0 or bigger tire is actually closer to a 29 inch diameter. Funny that we call them 26" and 27.5" fat bikes...🤣
@@ShadLife Thank You!;
Hey Shad. A guy in the 22" group put a pair of 20" Bucklos Yino MTB forks on his Audio with a 22 x 2.1 Mainline tire. Those forks have a 285mm axle to bridge. Might want to go ahead and try the Swampmaster with some 22s.
I am not personally interested in doing that. I actually think the larger volume 2.6 tires are what make this bike work so well.
beautiful....
I knew it was only a matter of time before a 20" single speed MTB would be built. Breaking the mold again.
Brooklyn Machine Works did that a bunch of years ago. Also Fingers Crossed BMX did this before WTP
🤣 Far from an MTB. 20", not singlespeed, MTBs are actually quite common now for kids. Same with 20" mountain bike DJ specific bikes.
I don't remember the Brooklyn Machine Works one. I did show that full suspension BMX bikes go way back to the 70s in my unboxing video of this bike. I called out WTB for advertising this as the first full suspension complete BMX bike made while showing a few 70s bikes.
I wanna buy the Swampuss from Wetheninjas. I need to save up asap.
Hey Shad! Do you mind sharing the shortest distance between the rear shock and bottom tube?
Let me guess, you want to convert it to an eBike...🤣
I am 44 5' 7 170lbs and have a 26" dj but struggle a bit @ pump track with it due to size.
I mostly ride pump track but 20inch bmx raced as a kid. After Watching several of your videos, do you think this swampmaster would be a fun mostly pump track bike or is it to much work and tires to big and bumpy?? I like the idea of a little suspension for my back and the 20" smaller size to manual but not sure if it would be an unenjoyable to ride @ pump track mostly.???
I think a 26 inch DJ bike is the perfect pump track bike. I wouldn't consider the Swampmaster any better than my DJ bike. The suspension actually detracts from pumping.
I consider the Swampmaster more of a slopestyle bike but in 20 inch BMX form.
Dirt jump / Slopestyle bmx bike ( Big Jump :p ) , Street would be to heavy I think
For technical tricks, yes. For big gaps, drops, and that sort of stuff it would probably work great.
Weight?
31 pounds. I weighed it during the unboxing video.
Let me borrow that shit for some real testing.
No...🤣 Get yer own!
@@ShadLife I'm too poor man. I got too many bikes already and I'm saving for an EMTB. That thing looks so rad dude.
