I'm 38 getting ready to purchase a high end bmx bike after years of not riding. I thought I was going crazy but after reading your response I feel like I'm doing okay.
I recently order the Gary Young Soundwave V3 in Off white Notebook yellow. And the bike was a solid bike. The only issue was the bike came fitted with two right hand crank arms. Making it impossible for mounting a regular set of pedals as the left handed pedal didnt fit because reverse threads on the left pedal. But I sent a email. And Sunday immediately sent out a left side crank. Since buying the bike I have done additional $450 /$500 more upgrades to the bike. And dialed it in some more. I'm very happy with it. Now I'm thinking about buying a second bike with different geometry. Fly or WTP, or Kink?
wow what a great review! I'm 6'2", almost 200lbs, and wanna go back after 20 years to ride one these... just to fool around the neighborhood and do basic tricks. :) which one would u recommend? Appreciate the answer/ thanks
Something mid-high quality would be fine for you, but I’d suggest a 21” toptube. And Envy with a 21tt would be bad ass, the Williams if you get it on sale, kind whip XL would even be ok as long as you’re not going super hard on the tricks
You forgot to check out Volumes 3 complete from $1050 to 999. One of these frames should of made this list. 24mm Demolition cranks this is a Pro level bike. 13:46
@@fmfory6 I do want to try a coaster on my next bike. Maybe upgrade to a street sweeper, sounds wave or a wtp or cult bike. My Sunday gets constant flats and I can't figure out why, like every single ride.
I’m a 38 year old in Australia. I just bought a WTP Envy as my first BMX bike. It is so nice and really light.
38 in australia, so 83 everywhere else?
@@Haik86 That’s actually pretty funny.
I’m 34 in Australia but older overseas. Got myself a colony sweet tooth 2 months ago for $900. Usually $1500. Envy is sick

I'm mid build on a 2021 Pro Performer 20".
On top of the bike's cost, the parts list just went over $2K.
