one tip i want to give you as it proved well for me : engage enemy units in hand to hand combat, run your archers around and let them shoot into the backs of the enemys units. they will die really quickly with that tactic. i would prefer archers, not javelinmen, as their ammo is a lot higher , although they have less weapon damage, but trust me they die like flies, guess the backs of units are made of ice cream. just be careful your archers dont get engaged by reinforcing units.
Mate you can activate hoplite wall when in combat, same with shieldwall etc. in Rome II. A bit bullshitty and it does feel cheaty but it really isnt that bad and could have turned the tide of the battle of lamia for instance, where your youths could have held long enough for you to replace the hole in your lines you got from that rout.

I'm doing a This is Total War Veni Vidi Vici campaign with Syracuse on Hannibal at the Gates right now (13 settlements), but there's no way I could do those other things as well :)
why dont you make a proper suebi campaign as well Legend. I couldnt find any that worth watching. There is only one person who can do that and its you man keep up the good work, love your videos man
Christian Toste Don'T do it. It'll run the game on low settings and very low fps but it'll fuck your macbook up. I did it once and my laptop was never the same (it became very slow afterwards). just avoid these type of games on a laptop; they are not build for it.

First of all massive mistake on graphics as making it an engine for graphics cards which haven't even been created. Dlc for starters people having to pay money for factions and other campaigns where you are pay for the once again and should do more Free Dlcs. The Huns kill end turns by taking a while. the ability where they stop Replenishment is just Overpowered maybe reduce but not completely stop.
I started allying everyone I could. I could trade with most of them, enemy Athenia and the east, lost a key port city lost all trades, retook it making the new trade deals i made huge money cause we were already friends and the campaign became too easy after that , 20 turns in and I can see how to win, just take the east completely grow powerful and when I feel ready hit the friends at home. The research and tech buildings seem useless, I go mostly with kretan archers and the rest of merc army on HARD diff, I will try very hard, Legendary is dumb I want to play the battles not build doomstacks. I think I am playing it perfectly how the game wants me to play not creating diplomatic issues ,that's why it becomes so easy 20 turns in I can see the way to winning.

take units out of formation attack in town melee, so they can outflank enemy. And you should perhaps use hoplite wall.

I would suggest turning formation attack off since it stops them from wrapping around the enemy unit thus making them less effective :)
