Education in Kenya is not education. It’s kids center with no future for many. Teachers vs students ration is herd- like boma. Renaming, the- packaging does not show progress. What the state of those have done well? Where are they assimilated into? Interns slave system?
This man is claiming that the challenges are minimal, a class of 80 being taught by one teacher 12 subjects is that not a major concern, what about the children in places where classrooms are a challenge? The only people who can claim CBC is doing well are the ones their children are in private schools.
The issue is to upskill the teacher. Some teachers don't even know how to use a computer. You are supposed to train kids on the future of education while you are in the stone age!? We have a long way to go. Education is also expensive, reason why you pay an arm and a leg to international schools. It is the job of the govt to invest in education but unfortunately we would rather play politics than invest on being globally competitive. However, there is no motivation on the government's part to invest in education as their children go to international schools. Sad reality! 😔
