G'Day mate it is about the same size as the older D 379 I worked on a derdge and it had 4 of them they are the most reliable engine I have worked with.
Unfortunately not all of the oil gets evacuated with the Wiggins oil suck pump. But that is just a price that has to be paid to use the quick suck system.

My favourite ,the 3508 of all the Cat V series ,standing near this engine at idle the sound is incredible.

Currently looking at a 2002 3508B gen set. How does the 3508 stack up against other CAT Engines?
It is a VERY reliable engine and parts are plentiful. It does like the fuel and can be a bit thirsty.
