I'm trying to learn piano at the ripe old age of 49 (same class as the boys, but different country) and this is very inspiring. So far I mostly just chord bash along to the Chicago DVD. Thanks!

@Osea Nelson: This may be a little hard to explain because I can't read sheet music, I learn by ear. The best way is practice. I listen very closely to music I want to learn and try to find the bass notes they are playing by trying to match the sound with a key near my left hand. Then I listen closely to the melody and learn it on my right hand. But it's all a very natural and flowing process that takes only one thing to master: practice!!! That's it!!! I promise!!!!!!
