But how do you remove the wires from where you put the fuses without breaking the plastic

So...how do you get the box out? Do you have to come at it from underneath?

Do you happen to know who makes terminals for the power distribution box under the hood of a 1993 Ford F150? I know the GM stuff of that era is Delphi, but I am having trouble locating the Ford terminals. Is this something you sell? Thanks!

90s Ford Trucks generally have boxes made by EPC, which is now part of the PKC Group. I have a 97 Expedition which uses the same setup as your truck does (Maxi fuse, ATM mini fuse, ISO relay and mini relay), just with a few more fuses and relays. Most likely, the terminals are from Lear Corporation for the whole box. Google for the PKC group catalogs and it'll make sense.
Starting around 1997, Chrysler's boxes started being made by Yazaki in Japan. They're pretty easy to identify, since Yazaki tends to put their logo on the main section. I took apart a 2000 Dakota/Durango box a few years ago, saw the Yazaki logo and emailed them about it. They were nice enough to reply with a list of terminals for each spot.

@@projectgattago you're welcome. Sounds like you're wanting to add a couple things using empty slots and do it the right way. Depending on what you're adding, it might be better to add an auxiliary box like I'm doing on my Expedition. If you know anything about dissecting Chrysler fuse boxes, any help is appreciated.

@@tsherwoodrzero I am actually trying to help a client with his truck. He is installing a Holley EFI system and I saw no reason not to repurpose his original power distribution module and integrate it with the Holley EFI. I know a bunch about GM/Delphi parts, but not Chrysler.

@@projectgattago Nice touch! I did the same thing on my RX-7, with the 2000 Durango box. All of the stock RX-7 fuses and relays were moved into the new box, right next to the Haltech EFI stuff and a few use upgrades like a dedicated Ignition switched power relay and a Starter Relay so it engages every time no matter what. Made up a new label in Paint and it looked NICE.
Here's the EPC/PKC Group Catalogs, it'll help you understand how the stock Ford boxes are put together:

When making any sort of training aid, it is imperative that the object of the instruction and the reason people would seek such instruction is met.
You could literally have said 'just remove the wires' and saved us all time. The reason people are searching isn't to see to see how the fuse/relay boxes come apart, but to see how the terminal capture system is released to make a clean R2. Guess what you DIDN'T get into. The terminal capture system here is unusual, and knowing the correct tool and which direction/location on the terminal in relation to the box is the objective.
    I'm guessing you were AETC...

the only way i can start my truck is if i take the starter relay out and put a wire in the 87 and 30 slot. The mechanic told me the whole fuse box needs to be replaced and would cost a 1000 new maybe 100 at wrecker. The thing i just can see having to replace the entire fuse box. Would just be at wire underneath?

I had a same issue and used a wire diagram to find what energizes 87 for me it was 86, I followed that wire and fixed it as it was not getting any voltage.

“Atypical” means “not typical”. You have a typical fuse box there.

Funny, title says "FUSE BOX" and you spent most of the video talking about relay wiring. As everyone else has stated on this video, the title does not match what you are doing. #fail
