Thanks for the great overview. My takeaway is, that there is no feasible case solution for the Fold series. You either grab a case with complete protection and end up carrying a Rubik's cube in your pocket, or you go for the flimsy ones that don't cover the hinge. Past experience with Murphy's Law tells me that this is where it'll hit the concrete the second I drop it. Essentially, any potential money towards a case is likely better invested into insurance, so you can rock it naked without having to worry about it.

I'm using the first case since I got the phone at launch. I find the fit to be super tight. I was unable to get the front cover off and I'm afraid to manipulate the phone in such a way that it'll break. So that will likely keep the case on the entire time. I added the oh snap magsafe handle and have several other magsafe accessories. It's the one technology that Apple has that's undeniably helpful.

case for fold 6 without hinge protection is bad one

The Folio style case is missing the mark with the rear camera. Since the inside cameras on the Fold are not the best for selfies, you can use the rear camera. The case blocks the front screen so you can see yourself.

Great video man. I picked up the s pan case and only use the back. I also purchased the pitaka case that is back protection only. I'm going to add a full screen protector and make sure I have insurance on here and I'm good. Lol

The copper ring inside the phone for wireless charging was in the middle on the Fold 1-4. Starting with the Fold 5 & 6, the ring is not centered anymore. Beware of cases where the MagSafe ring is in the middle: you may have trouble with wireless charging (slow & heating battery charging issues).

Honestly i tried the Nillkin case and the adhesive strip is amazing as its 3M but The rest of the upper frame is so thin and flimsy that you can pull it and it'll give you a super big gap. So it sucks and I returned it right away to Amazon i just got TORRAS armor hing protection S Pen Case and its the best cqse ever

I mean this in the nicest way, there is too much jumping back and forth between too many camera angles. Wished you had a more zoomed in top down view and just kept it there. Could use less of the side angle and including your person
