Something about this build off was special. Maybe it's the combination of the uniqueness of the builds with the attention to detail and quality that is typical of SA. I never thought twice about that generation Lexus LS, but now I kind of want one. Both cars are awesome. Would be really awesome if they got included in a future Forza Motorsport/Horizon or something like that.
So cool to see you build an M5 Wagon. Especially one that has the V8.
The new M5 is a crazy car. It a 2 ton boat but still does the 0-60 in 4,8 seconds. AWD, ZF Automatic and a 340hp diesel is no joke. You are in the fastest 10% on the roads by a long shot in this thing.
E39 M5s only had V8s, but there was only one genuine M5 Touring. BMW didn't put it into production, not enough of a market for it.
Just absolute perfection. This build deserves all the views!

This has been an absolutely magical journey with this build. All of the work and details you put into making this a truly unique vehicle. Was there any hard acceleration numbers put out with a Dragy or vBox for the two cars? If not, that would be a cheap and easy thing to add to your videos. Would love to know 0-60, 1/8 and 1/4 miles.

Why would you destroy two cars that's worth a bit of money to build a fake M5 touring.
By the way I own a genuine e34 3.8 M5 touring so know what all this stuff it's worth I sore rust on the M5 arch but better to repair and to have sold M5 and 540 then used money to buy M5 touring they are far more E39 M5 touring made than E350 only ever 791 ever built
An E39 M5 Touring is worth 50-70k US, a salvage title E39 M5 is worth max 15-20k. E39 Touring maybe 5k. Plus one was rusty and the aother had a bad auto trans. Make sense now?

Going from seeing this wagon sneak it’s way into portions of the FR-S build series, to seeing what it’s become now is truly remarkable! Absolutely love how far you’ve come as individuals and a channel. This build series was thoroughly enjoyable from beginning to end and the results are magnificent!

wow, nice shop, i wish to have a place like that. I am picking up a 1999 528it 2.8l I6 Dual Vanos.... just a lil curious what can be achieved on that OEM engine, i would personally like to convert my 528it to a 3.0 with the Vanos system on a 6 speed REAL manual. Plus ITB ... what would that make? how much can I get on the 2.8 while keeping it normally aspirated?

why don't you rebuild an E39 M5 Wagon the way it deserves to be rebuilt..... it is a very rare specimen here in Canada..... and you should not have done that with a $6000 challenge.... you shoulda brought this car back to showroom spec.... with an engine built better with better parts than it came with.... there are soo many upgraded parts available for the E39 M5.......
