I just finished watching your other D-R35 video and figured I'd watch this one too. I always enjoy teardown videos. I don't have anything to add, I'm pretty much just commenting to help you with the algorithm. They like seeing engagement for whatever reason.
It seems there were shady practices going on with the packaging and distribution of this console. Both boxes were labeled differently, inorrectly listing the specs.
The analogs do not come with l3 r3 functions, I swapped with Nintendo switch analogs and you can Press down but the whole system became useless. Nothing will move, the only buttons working is the volume and power switch. I switched it back and it's functioning again.
I got the R35S october last year (yes the one just before the R36S) and all just because of the chipset, you can put newer versions of arkos or amberelec, jelos, unofficialOS, (maybe lakka or even batocera 'not tested yet') because of the RK3326 | Mali-G31 used on many other handhelds and the lowest price with decent quality. handhelds with not common chipsets will not have a lot of options in the custom firmware community.

You’re the best, my friend. Thank you 🙏
Here in Brazil, a guy bought it and in the unboxing video and specifications it said that the chipset is an ARM Cortex A7.

@@OGTechNick I think they just want to ride the wave of success of the R36S, but with inferior hardware and thus make more profit.
So apparently the cpu is made by company named V.R. Technology, who mostly makes famiclone chips and really lowend arm cpus, so unlikely to be good
Unfortunate. Oh well. Let's see what pops up next. Appreciate the info
Has anyone flashed Amber elec or anything like that on this yet? the base OS is so frustrating

hello. Could you do me the favor of sharing a backup copy of the data on the SD card. My SD card stopped working. please
the Puya chip is a 1.8v bios chip
I don’t know if I’ll get a response but how do I charge this?
In the hackaround video the SOC is 3326 and in this one it's something else?
which hack around video? he hasnt made a video about this.
Goodbay CFW 😢😅
I have the same model as you do. I ordered the nice gray and they gave me ugly rusty tanish poop color device 🤦🏼♂️
🤣🤣🤣
Have that handheld the same display quality like the r36s?
The display seems fine. Probably not the same as R36S, but the cpu is much weaker.
R36s has much better display.
