Young women in Denmark face deportation to Syria | Focus on Europe

  • Denmark has revoked the residency permits of hundreds of Syrians, including many women, who must now return to their homeland. War refugees in the EU are usually protected from deportations. Denmark broke that consensus.

    Europe cannot absorb this flow of immigrants. Its time for leaders to take responsibility for their own citizens. Besides, too many immigrants refuse to integrate and behave in self-entitled ways, becoming ever critical of host countries. It is time for governments to look after and implement the will of citizens. The EU and ECHR has done much damage to our countries. I support Denmark 100%. 🇩🇰 ❤ 🇬🇧

    On page 2 of the rejection letter it says that she has her father and his side of the family living in Syria. But it says that she feel he is not her father, and she counts that as not having family there.
    Also it says that she attended a demonstration, and had pictures taken there with POI. When asked if she knew that if the authorities found out, it could have severe consequences, she said yes.
    Again DW News tells about a 1/10 of the story to garner outrage.

      On the first page it says she has no children to provide for and no job as well. None of the things are helping her situation.
      On other articles about her, she claims she can't remember much from Syria at all. She moved up here 6 years ago and she's 21? I guess that means the 15 first year of her life is just blanked out? I don't buy her story one bit.

The other day at the Doctors office a couple from Iraq needed a translator before thet could come, the nurse asked why they havent learnt Danish after 9 years here, they just shrugged.. They never told her that she could stay permanently. She was admitted on a temporary basis until the situation improved in Syria. Now that time has come, and she is unwilling to abide by the terms of her visa. I certainly can understand her not wanting to return to Syria, but "temporary" has to mean TEMPORARY. If countries can't issue temporary residency visas without having to later make them permanent, no country will be willing to issue them.

    • @alierem4266
      @alierem4266 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

       Rather a wishful thinking, yours but u r entitled to express yr view. Many countries could not operate at what they consider economically viable, save for skilled foreigners they invite.
      We must accept that labour shortage in certain work force areas necessitates temp resi visas.
      Add to this students, ppl under contracts for temp duration (up to several years), gaps in terms of srmi-lay or professional temp residents need to be filled to enable expected economic outcomes.
      Whilst working/studying ppl do get involved in human relationships.
      As such, these may result in marriage, children and alike. This will then enable many to seek permanent visas, or else disadvantage will be caused to their citizen/resident family members.
      Let us also consider that each state will be guided by their own migration/visa regulations and actual enforced return to (own) country of residence may take 10 years or longer.

    • @sylviabargas3340
      @sylviabargas3340 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What you are saying is true. However, this young woman is NOT one of the skilled foreigners that Denmark "invited." She was simply admitted on a TEMPORARY basis until the situation in Syria improved. And she does not appear to be gainfully employed, so it's hard to make the case that she's contributing anything to Denmark. Perhaps she would in the future, but only after Denmark invests $ in educating her. From the point of view of economics, that isn't a good strategy. The country is much better off bringing in people who are ALREADY educated, so that they don't have to devote resources to their education.@@alierem4266
