glad to see you didn 't lay the side panels on the concrete when assembling,hate when dealers lay them down on the ground and scratch them,

I rock a padded table and foam mats on my floor for that reason... Put a massive scratch down the center of a brand new 400-500$ defender hardcoat windshield by assembling it on an uncovered folding table. Did that job twice and learned my lesson that day.
Nice looking machine. I wish they had to just make all with those new led lights. This is the first 2023 I have e seen with them.

Noticed there are 3 idler wheels on the right side, as did you Mark, but only 2 on the left side? Is that for a reason or did somebody miss one?
It’s because it has smart shocks
0004 means if the 4th sled of that sku # there is like hundreds of sku’s doesn’t mean it’s the 4th sled of the line..
It’s the 4th one at that dealer ship, like the dealer ship I ordered from gets 6
@@audibroddy90 Not true. It's like @blackrenegade850 said. We may get sequential numbers at my dealership, but only if we order 2 of the same model at the same exact time. There's nothing dealer specific about the vin #'s. The last 6 digits of a vin (BRP not including seadoo's that is) are the sequential build order for that exact model code only.

the tech was very accommodating .. i Had a customer the other day hang out on a job and after 30 minutes of their life story, I kindly asked him to run along so I could focus .... and I still got paid LOL
Honestly as a BRP PDI Tech I have absolutely no problem with customers watching me build their machines. I'm happy to let them see their machine being assembled and ask whatever questions I can answer. For most of them that won't ever open their owners manual that's the best information they'll ever have🤷♂
So long as they aren't telling me their life story that is🤣

Did you notice 3 wheels on the throttle side and only 2 on the brake side
The third one is on the inside, they did that cause the suspension is in the way

The smart shocks reservoir is in the way so the 3rd wheel is in the middle

I just haven’t gotten used to the new headlight look yet. I am sure it is a great machine but I gotta love the looks also when I am spending the kind of money they go for these days. Awesome video though and cool channel.
Oh and my 2022 renegade xrs turbo all black was a sign from god. I got the all black and it came with 007 vin. Lol

i dont know about those 2 cylinder 850 cc....not sure of the fiability....even if you pay 20k for this....it will blow after 10 miles even if hes new or use....

Smart Shox isn't actually a gen 5 thing. They came out last year on the gen 4. It is electronically controlled dampening on the front and rear suspension. This allows on the fly "stiffness" control for different riding scenarios. Toggle switch on dash allows for 3 settings; comfort, sport, and sport +.
Downfalls do exist though...
Increased complexity ie: more things to fail/get damaged... I've seen a maverick with non functional Smart Shox with less than 10miles simply because the guy put a strap over the harness on the rear swingarm and pulled it out of the shock.
They aren't compatible with some accessories like the adventure front bumper and lateral foot holders.
Lastly, they sometimes come from the factory not completely connected, which adds diagnosis and repair to the PDI(Entirely a me problem but it still sucks lol)
