  • Mike speaks to Ski-Doo ambassador MJ Thompson about the new 2023 MXZ Blizzard in the Gen5 chassis. What a wicked looking sled! You gotta love that bright Ski-Doo yellow. MJ tells us what's new for 2023, including the Gen 5 platform advantages like LED lights and a fourth motor mount to reduce vibration, as well as the upgrades to the Blizzard line this season!

      I only own a high and a medium. No way I would use a low or none on the trails.

    I don't understand how the hand and thumb warmers work on the switchgear? There's just a hand warmer button no up and down adjustment

      Same question I had, must integrate with gauge and have some presets you can set. Honestly I am happy with the G4 separate up downs and i like separated. Seems might be more of a Polaris setup where you set the degrees but will see.

      Hey David! Great question. I am not entirely sure at this point. I believe they have reduced the 12 settings down to like 3 or 4, which is way better. Once we get the sled we will be sure to let everyone know! Cheers, Jesse

      As long as they are designed to keep the heat in the lens, I think they will work out. If not, it won't clear out moisture build up, and good luck chipping ice off if you park it outside.
      I bought some aftermarket LED lights for my old 99 SRX banger. They keep the heat spreader inside the lens and work fine. My buddy has a 98 Polaris and the heat spreader isn't in the lens area, and he has those aforementioned issues.

    Don't care for the bright headlights these days. Gotta think about the people coming at you on the trail. I almost have to stop on the trail because I can't see. :(

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  ปีที่แล้ว

      hmm.. I have never experienced that. Do you do any night riding? These lights are absolutely awesome for night riding and have never been bothered by lights on the trail during the day. Cheers, Jesse
